Clarke: "A horrible day. Probably should have bowled first. But if you bat like that in any conditions, you will lose. Our defence let us down more than anything. No excuse for the way we performed. Shot selection was poor. I understand the public wants us playing consistently. Honestly, if we played like that (today) then the public wouldn't want to see us playing at all. Our bowlers did a good job."
Clarke was clearly peeved with himself for the way he and his team played. Nice to see a captain be so honest about his own team. Not all captains in world cricket today can say 'yes we messed up real bad.' You have to admire Clarke for that.
Pakistan skittled for 49....Devastating stuff from Steyn....WAG........India vs Sa kku ippave velai kodiya thookida vendiythu thaan.:shaking: ..Will probably avoid the series altogether if Sachin isn't playing.....
Pakistan playing quite well in SA. Made a decent 338 and now SA at 141/5. Two centurions from Pak. Ajmal all five. I don't expect India to do better than this in SA. Glad I will be if i am proved wrong.
Pak continues to do better than India against Top Test countries. Something which even England couldn't do. Take that P_r ;) . 100/3 after being 7/2 in 2nd Inns. Hope they make 250-300 and either win or draw this test. Camaan Pakiiisss...
South Africa won the match and series ... Smith has become the most successful test captain went past Ricky Ponting.

NZ-Eng 1st Test Day 2 - Session 3
Eng 167 all out. Neil Wagner/Bruce Martin 4 wickets a piece. NZ 76/0

After losing all 10 wickets in a day, the mighty English could'nt get even one NZ wicket :rotfl:
Celebrate while it lasts :pink:
Vaughan in twitter after England's bad first day against Kiwis ...
"I feel England will have to play India more to gain some confidence after a day like this.....!!!!"
England will do well to prepare tracks that play to Swann-Monty's strengths.
And I know Aus bowlers will have more favourable conditions in England than here in India, but still if Vijay-Pujara can bat them out of a game, I am  thinking of what Cook-Trott can do to them.
raththam varaNum.
anbuLLa Feddy, Neil Wagner - the NZ bowler who took a bunch of the wickets in the opening day rout of England - also happens to be from SA.
Ingleend :rotfl2: that too againts the kiwis :rotfl:

With the possible exception of Clarke I reckon it is impossible to like this Australian team.
England has so many so many interesting talents. Kamaan. ippo kudukkura adiyila, innum paththu varushaththukku Australia endhirikkavE koodAdhu.
Raththam thakkaalichchattni aagirum..
Bleddy Rain trying to save Englis ass. I need 2 full day's of play. NZ 235 ahead.
England always has a wobbly start.
Remember how it looked after the first two days of the historic 2010 Ashes in Brisbane?
I hope Cook and friends just bat them out of the match in the second innings.
But then I was hoping for such a recovery in the SA tour of England and it never happened :-(
Srilanka scoring at the rate of 5+ against Bangladesh in first test.
Bnagladesh pre series pechu - This is the best chance for us to win a test match abroad .
1) Hallo adhu India (Once upon a time-la). Don';t tell me you expected Eng to do bad in NZ. On paper/form they can bulldoze NZ easily.
2) Ashes 2010 Historic aa?. 2005 is. I betted England would win easily and they did it quite comfortably. I even had a bet with LM here.
3) England can still win this series. They will fight back. All I want to see is NZ doing much better than expected, which I am seeing already in the first 3 days of this match. That is what makes this series interesting.
1) I didn't ENgland to perform this badly. But I am just reassuring myself 'namakku idhellAm sagajam dhaanE'. Look at how they performed even in the India series first test. Twirl kosuvathi suruL:
a) before India, SL was there and they batted well in the first innings of the first test. England huffed and puffed to post a lead. SL then capitulated under Tremlett-Swann
b) India's tour of England first test at Lord's - they didn't seem to dominate the match as they ought to have: Prior/Broad stand prevented the advantage from slipping back.
c) They were clueless in Dubai. Nowehere were they in the game. But they were way better in Abidhabi - and then the 4th innings debacle happened.
d) They lost in Galle and came back in Colombo
2) Of course 2009/10 is historic. 2 innings defeats ellAm Ashes sarithirathulam, bookOLathula kidaiyAdhu
2005 of course is history HD. Everyone talks about it. But raththam vandhadhu 2009/10 - adhai meeNdum meeNdum solvEn. "I want revengge"
3) I haven't watched a ball. Weekend dhaan pArkkaNum. NZ teamE touch vittu pOchchu. palapEr yaar ennanE theriyalai. Refresh paNNaNum.
Oh ok. Appadi varinga. 2009/10 is good series. Both teams had fighting chances with Ponting/clarke amidst the runs.

As I said, they always have trouble in the first innings/tests.NZ bowling is crap.
A big disappointment that has to be appreciated :(.
