தன் நண்பர் ஒருவருடன் ரஜினி தன் கேளம்பாக்கம் பண்ணையில் ஜாலியாக பேசிகொண்டிருந்தார். அப்போது இங்கிருந்து 4 கி.மீ தொலைவில் ஒரு பஜ்ஜி கடை உள்ளது மிகவும் அருமையாக இருக்கும் என நண்பர் சொல்ல, ஆர்வம் கொண்ட ரஜினி வாங்க நம்ம போய் சாப்டலாம் நு சொல்லியிருக்கிறார். அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்த நண்பர் ,சார் நீங்க எப்பிடி சார் வரமுடியும்? மக்கள் உங்களை கண்டுவிட்டால் கூட்டம் கட்டுபடுத்த முடியாது சார் என்று சொல்லிருக்கிறார். கவலைபடாதீங்க நான் மாறுவேடமிட்டு அவ்வபோது மக்களோடு சராசரி மனிதனை போல நடமாடுவது வழக்கம் என்று அவரை சமாதான படுத்திவிட்டு இருவரும் வெள்ளை நிற பியட்டில் சென்றுள்ளனர். மணியோ இரவு 8.30. கடைக்கு இரண்டு தெரு அப்பால் காரை ஒரு ஓரமாக நிறுத்திவிட்டு ரஜினியும் அவர் நண்பரும் கடைக்கு நடைகட்டியுள்ளனர்.ஒரு 85 வயது முதியவரை போல் மாறுவேடமிட்திருந்த ரஜினியை அவ்வளவு எளிதில் கண்டுபிடிக்க இயலவில்லை யாராலும் . கடைக்கு போகும் வழியில் ஒரு மூதாட்டியை பார்த்த ரஜினி, என்ன அம்மா இங்க இருக்கீங்க என்று கேட்க ஒன்றுமே சொல்லாமல் அமைதியாக இருந்த பாட்டியிடம் மீண்டும் ரஜினி என்ன மா ஏன் இந்த இரவில் வீட்டுக்கு போகாம தனியாக இங்கு இருக்கிறீர் என்று கேட்க. கொஞ்சம் தண்ணி கிடைக்குமாபா என்று இறுகிய குரலில் பாட்டி கேட்க , அடுத்த 3 நிமிடத்தில் தண்ணீர் பாட்டியிடம்.
இப்போ சொல்லுங்கம்மா என்று ரஜினி கேட்க , இறுகிய முகத்துடன் இருந்த பாட்டி கூறியது, என் கணவர் ராணுவத்தில் பணியாற்றி நாட்டுக்காக உயிர் இழந்தார். இரண்டு பிள்ளைகளையும் ரொம்ப கஷ்டப்பட்டு நல்ல நிலைமைக்கு கொண்டுவந்தேன். இன்று அவர்கள் என்னை வீட்டை விட்டு வெளியே போக சொல்லிவிட்டார்கள். 3 நாளாக இதே இடத்தில் தான் இருக்கிறேன் என் பிள்ளைகள் தேடி வருவார்கள் என்ற நம்பிக்கையில், ஆனால் வரவில்லை. அடுத்தவர்களை பார்த்து கை ஏந்தும் நிலை நாளை முதல, ஆனால் அப்பிடி ஒரு நிலை வந்தால் என் உயிர் என்னை விட்டு பிரிந்து விடும். நீங்க போங்க அய்யா தண்ணீர் கொடுத்ததற்கு ரொம்ப நன்றி என்று கூறி பாட்டி அயர்ந்து தூங்கி விட்டார் தெருவோரம். ரஜினியும் நண்பரும் கிளம்பிவிட்டனர் இறுகிய மனதுடன்.
மறுநாள் காலை விடிந்தது, எழுந்தவுடன் பாட்டி கண்முன் ஒரு கார்.

நல்ல இருப்பிடம், பிள்ளைகூட தராத நல்ல நிம்மதி இன்று அந்த பாட்டிக்கு அந்த நல் வாழ்வு இயக்க கொடுத்துள்ளது. அத்தனை செலவும் இன்றுவரை ரஜினியுடையது .
புரிந்தது ஏன் அரசியலில் இல்லாமலும் உங்களை மட்டும் மக்கள் ஏன் தலைவர் என்று ஏன் கூபிட்ராங்கனு என்று.

The latest buzz in Kollywood is that Rajnikanth and Shankar are currently in last stages of finalizing their 3rd venture together after their successful Sivaji and Enthiran which turned out to be blockbuster hits. joe, probably the key to watch such movies thillu mullu, KLTA and the kind is to totally forget the old classic movies and then watch this as if we are watching a new story, otherwise ennangada padam eduthurukeenga nu than thonum :)
