'பைலட்' ஆக்கிரமித்த விதம் பைலட்டுக்கு கிடைத்த வெற்றி. சூப்பர் பதிவு. ஆனால் என்றாவது ஒருநாள் தான் இப்படிப்பட்ட ஜோரான விருந்து கிடைக்கிறது. தினம் ஒரு விருந்து அளியுங்களேன். இது என் தாழ்மையான வேண்டுகோள்.

Ah! It's been quite a while since I've been here...........got to catch up.
There's a wonderful scene after the " Theru koothu ". Nadigar Thilagam has a casual chat with the drama agent (E.R. Sahadevan), who is slightly under the influence of alcohol....and with an obvious eagerness to meet the new found girl in the team. E.R.Sahadevan who normally plays a ruffian or a baddy in most of the films, plays the agent character in a simply way laced with a tinge of humour......though he appears for a few minutes only. An obviously frustrated side kick, hits the Rajapart with the fan quite often while fanning. Initially NT doesn't mind it but after some time when the same treatment continues he retaliates in his own way. Again, brilliantly analysed / conceived and excellent portrayal by NT. You can notice that there is a box aka "trunku petti " kept in the Rajapart's room which has the words " Rajapart dress petti " boldly written on it.
Without having proper training in film making (of course, the discipline and training that they have gained during their stage play days is matchless ) and not knowing the exact terminologies like mise en scene, mac guffin etc., our directors and actors, in those days have done a marvellous job. What a great period !!!

I personally feel that Sridhar shouldn't have done Vaira Nanjam.......I was wondering whether this movie really has got NT in it, for more than half an hour since the movie started to run, his character will not appear on screen. A very dull movie.
