Kamal Haasan is busy with Uttama Villain shooting and it will be wrapped by July 14, soon after Uttama Villain Kamal will be start working in the Tamil remake of Drishyam which is to be directed by Jeethu Joseph who directed the original in Malayalam.

Actor Kamal Haasan was the chief guest for the audio launch event of ‘Vaaliba Raja’ that happened in Chennai this week. The film stars Sethu, Santhanam. Vishaka Singh and Nushrath Barucha in lead roles and has been directed by Sai Gokul Ramani.
Santhanam could not attend the event since he was busy with shooting. This seems to have irked Kamal since it was Santhanam who invited the senior star by making a personal visit. It is seen as a rude behavior by the comedy star for not attending a function after inviting a veteran for it.
Santhanma skipped the audio launch since he was shooting for Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Lingaa’ in Hyedrabad.

Kamal Haasan to do a Telugu film?
Kamal Haasan is currently busy with Uttama Villain being directed by Ramesh Arvind where Pooja Kumar, Andrea and many others are featured alongside him. It is said that his Vishwaroopam 2 will hit the screens only after Uttama Villain.
In the interim, there are talks going on in the industry that Kamal will be doing a Telugu film. Clarifying on this, the Manmadhan Ambu hero says, “While it is true that I am in talks with some Telugu directors, I am yet to sign any project”. He also added that in case he does a Telugu film, his home banner Raj Kamal films will produce the same.

Kamalhassan is on a acting spree. He's already shouldering too much of responsibilities to complete 'Viswaroopam 2' and 'Uthama Villain'. He has never missed solid scripts from other languages. One could recall his roles of 'Vasool Raja' from 'Munnabhai' and 'Unnaippol Oruvan' from 'A Wednesday'. The moment 'Drishyam' started to make all the right noises across the country he showed keen interest to do the role of 'George Kutty'. Mohanlal and Meena starrer “Drishyam” became a blockbuster in Malayalam and it encouraged other film industries to go for a remake. After being remade in Telugu and Kannada, and emerging as hits in the respective industries, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is doing the lead role in the remake of Drishyam in Tamil, as reported earlier.
The pooja of this movie was held recently in Chennai and the shooting of this untitled movie is scheduled to start by the first week of August.
