DR,
The 'kannathal' song is a super pick. As you rightly say, we can rarely think of anyone coming up with such a tune for bhakthi song. Very good tune. One of those innumerable songs of the late 90s we have missed.
DR,
Thanks for the pick.
IR + Amman Bhakthi - Really gifted nos........
Todays Pick:
Song: Thathi Thathi Thaavidum
Film: Periya Kudumbam
Singers: SPB and KSC
Year; 1995
Good melody and lovely rendition from SPB and KSC. Preludes are enhanced by the chorus as the music is playing very less role in this song.

Thanks DR for reminding this wonderful song. Nice chorus arrangement and well sung by Chitra and SPB.There are very little instruments and that itself is the beauty of this song.Quote:

'Rajavin Paarvayile' is a top class album which was completely neglected. I did not know about this album until my relative gave me a copy of the tape. He was so pissed seeing the tape being sold at highly reduced prices that he bought a few and gave it to people he knew!!! He was very upset that such an excellent album had no takers.
I love all the songs in this movie. Raja has experimented quite a bit in this movie. I remember Violin Vicky posting about the rhythm pattern of one of the songs.
Suresh, agree with you that Rajaavin Paarvailey is one the superb album and from this only I like Arun Mozhi.
