The position of Tamil Language in the present day Tamil Nadu
Initially we should first define who is a Tamilian. Historically the Tamilians lived in the six regions of Ancient Tamil Nadu which were the Chola Nadu, Paandiya Nadu, Chera Nadu & Aayi Nadu (both of present Kerala State) Thondai Nadu and Kongu Nadu - all encompassed within a landmass having as its boundaries the Venkadam Hills in the North, Kanyakumari region in the South, and the great Sea as it's Western and Eastern boundaries, speaking Tamil Language and following the Tamil Culture which developed over "three millenium" in Tamil Nadu.
Around 650 B.C. the great Tamil Grammetical work "Tholkaappiam" states that the northern and southern boundries of then Tamil Nadu were "vada Venkadam then Kumari aayidai Thamil koorum nalulakam (the great region where Tamil was spoken in between northern Venkadam [hills] and southern Kanyakumari [sea])". This is further confirmed by reference in the Tamil Epic "Silappathikaarem" of 175 A.D. as "Nediyon kuntramum (Venkata hills) Thodiyol pauvamum (Kanyakumari sea) Thamil varambaruththa (Tamil boundaries) than punal nannaattu" (refer chapter - venit kaathai).
Further in the epilogue (nootkatturai) of "Silappathikaaram" it is stated the boundaries of then Thamilakam was "Kumari, Venkadam, Kuna (east) Kuda (west) kadalal (sea) mandini marungit than Thamil varaippu". The "Sangam period Poetess "Kaakkai Paadiniyaar" has referred to same as "Vadakkum, Thetkkum Kudakkum Kunakkum - Venkatam, Kumari theempunal Pauvam entru an naan kellai". Another Sangam period Tamil Literary work "Ahanaanooru" mentions that Venkatam region belonged to the "Thondaiman kings" as "Vinai navil yaanai virat poar Thondaiyar ina(thu), malai thavalum eatraru nendunkoattu oangu vell aruvi Venkadaththu"
The Dravidas was undoubtedly a term used by the North Indians to refer to a "section of the people of the present Karnataka State" during the period of the Mahabharatha episode (around B.C.450). However in the fourteenth century A.D. this term was used by the North Indians as a 'general term' to refer to the people not only of Karnaataka but also of Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and the Tulu countries, who all came under the sway of the "Vijayanagara Empire of Karnatakas".
But even after the fall of Vijayanagara Empire of Karnaatakas, while the people of the foregoing countries referred "back" again to their traditional names as Karnatakas, Andhras and Keralas, the term "Dravidas" continued to be used in Tamil Nadu - especially by the Andhra Viceroys (Telugus) of the earlier Vijayanagar empire in Tamil Nadu, who continued to rule as independent Rulers (the Naayakkar kings) in "some parts" of the Tamil Nadu (namely Thanjavur, Senji and Madurai). Subsequently with the fall of the Naayakkar kings, the Polygars (the Paalayakkaarer) who were petty Subordinate Rulers (both Tamils and Telugus) of the villages of Tamil Nadu which were earlier under the Naayakkar rule became independent Rulers in these villages, and they too preferred to be call themselves as "Dravidas".
With the formation of the States of India on the Linguistic basis, in Tamil Nadu some sections of it's population especially the Telugu people and Karnaataka people settled in Tamil Nadu still preferred themselves to be referred to as "Dravidians", and efforts are being taken by them "to wrongly project to the masses of Tamil Nadu", that all Tamils too are "Dravidians", and were using this term 'also' to refer to them, which will cause the term "Tamilians" being completely "lost in practice", and will finally pave way for the "high majority Tamilians of Tamil Nadu" to completely loose their "histoical identity" as Tamilians (the Mannin Mainthar) of Tamil Nadu - "their traditional home in India over three millennium".
Presently the people of Karnaatakas are in the north-west and the Andhras are in the north-east beyond the north of Tamil Nadu, and without any restrictions in their countries call themselves only as "Karnaatakas" and "Andhras" and not as "Dravidians"..
The first references to "Dravidas" is seen in the Sanskrit Mahaabharatha of Sage/Poet Viyaasa (Refer Kisari Mohan Ganguli's English Translation of same and extracted and given below). From this reference it is positively confirmed that the term "Dravida" doesnot refer to the Tamils under Keralas (Cheras), Cholas, and Paandiyas who were all 'Tamil Dynasties of Tamil Nadu', but to some "other racial group other than them" and "the Andhras" in their neighbourhood. In the second reference too it is positively confirmed that the Tamils under the Chola dynasty were not referred to as "Dravidas" but as "Cholas".
In the Sanskrit Raamaayana of Vaalmiki which was earlier than the Sanskrit Mahaabharatha of Viyasa, the three Tamil dynasties Cheras, Cholas, Paandiyas, and the Andhras are mentioned, but none of them are referred to singularly or collectively as Dravidians in same.
This assumption is further confirmed by two References in the King Asoka's 13th Rock Edict which too refers to the regions in the south of India beyond the Maurya Empire's boundries, being the Chola, Paandiya, Kerala and Kongu countries (Satyaputra) all falling within the limits of then Tamil Nadu, and the Andhra where the Buddhism spread, but nowhere it refers to them as "Dravidas".
From the foregoing it is definite the racial group - the Dravidas mentioned in Mahaabharatha has to be definitely to a section of the present Karnatakas. Further King Asoka's 2nd Rock Edict too refers to the dynasties of then Tamil Nadu as Cholas, Paandiyas, Keralaputras and Satyaputras but never referred to them as a group or individually as "Dravidas".
In the subsequent Hathikumbha Inscription of the Kalinga (Orissa) King Karavela too mentions the three Tamil Countries of South India as "Tamira countires" and not as Dravida Countries.
Also we note from the Sanskrit text named "Madura Vijayam" by Gangadevi, there is a mention to Dravida Ladies as being in the south, and further seperately reference to the Cholas and the Paandiyas but without any mention that they were Dravidas (singularly or collectively). Hence it is possible that it was a reference to small settlement of Karnatakas in a region in Tamil Nadu of that period on the way to Madura whose beautiful wifes are referred to as "Dravida Ladies".

Madura Vijayam - by Gangadevi
Further the renowned Kannada Historian "Shamba Joshi" traces the Kannada Race to the earliest Vedic Race called "Kanna". He further states the "Kalavar Race" (Kalabhras of South Karnataka) as the "Moola Dravida" and "Kanna" as "Arya Dravida". Hence from the foregoing it is very clear that the "Dravidas" mentioned in the Mahaabharatha were no other than the "Kalavar Race", and the "Karnatakas" mentioned in the same Mahaabharatha were the "actual Karnatakas" or "Kannas" who lived in a region south of then Malava (country) present South Maharashtra, though both the north and south regions presently falls into the present Karnataka State. Hence it is clearly evident "Dravidian" was "never" a name used to designate the "then Tamilians of the Chera, Chola, Paandiya, Kongu & Thondai(mandala) countries" - the regions which covered the present Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Hence in future all - "Historians", "Politicians", "Media" and the "Others" of 'Tamil Nadu and elsewhere' - should not refer to the "Tamilians" as "Dravidians" - but only as "Tamilians", and also it is correct for all Political Parties of Tamil Nadu having the term "Dravidar" in their Party names, to use the term "Thamilar" in place of the term "Dravidar" - in their respective Party names, as they are all Political Parties of Tamil Nadu working for the Development, Welfare, and the Better future - 'essentially' of the "Tamilians" (the Mannin Mainthar) "who are the majority", and of the others races of Tamil Nadu

The present status of "Tamil Language among Tamils within Tamil Nadu is very distressing". The Tamils themselves are feeling shy to talk in Tamil and feel it a great pride to talk in English or Tamil heavily mixed with English words, and words from the other Languages spoken by the Races from other States of India settled in Tamil Nadu, completely not knowing there already exists the relevent Tamil equivalents for same.
Many Tamils of the present day Tamil Nadu speak in English even with their fellow Tamils, instead of their own mother tongue the beautiful Tamil Language, having the false thinking that it is only then they could command the respect of the other Tamils and that of the Races from the other states of India living in Tamil Nadu - while in the technologically and socially very highly developed countries like France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Portugal, Spain, China, Russia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc etc etc the people have given the "first place" to their own native languages over the English language - politically, technologically and socially within their countries.
The Temple - Worship and Rituals are dominated with Sanskrit Language Manthirams throwing away the Tamil - Saivite Thirumuraikal & Vainavite - Naalayira Thivya Pirapanthams that existed for long in these temples, and also doing away with the traditional Othuvaar & Araiyar Systems of the & Saivite & Vainavite - Religions which existed in the Siva and Vishnu temples of Tamil Nadu from the early periods.
The Tamil Music festivals are dominated with the usage of Sanskrit and Telugu Songs and Keeththanaas when there are enough and more Tamil - Songs and Keerthanas that are available. The Musicians only celebrate the Telugu Composers while forgeting the Tamil Composers - Thamil Isai Mummoorththikal namely Muththuthaandavar, Arunaachala Kaviraayer, Maarimuththaapillai and many others - who have contributed much to Tamil Music with their Songs and Keerththanaas. In the Tamil Dance festivals too the accompanying Music compositions played in rythem with the relevent Dances are mostly in Sanskrit or Telugu as against Tamil.
The "Greatest living historical Monument of Tamilian Pride" - is the "Thanjavur Rajarajaeswarem Thirukkoyil" (also known as 'Birahatheeswarem Temple' and as 'Thanjai Periya Koyil'). This magnificient architectural monument was constructed by Rajaraja Chola - 1 (A.D.985 - 1014) one of the two "greatest Tamil emperors of Tamil Nadu" to commemorate his great achievement of having built the mighty "Tamil Chola Empire" which encompassed three forth of India and the countries overseas. Presently this temple is still under the trusteeship of the decendents of "Maraatiyar kings", instead of it being under the trusteeship of "Tamil Nadu Inthu Aranilayam" or a Board comprising of "Eminent Native Tamil Personnels" who are intellectuals in the field of "Tamil Saivaism" Religion and in "Tamil Language and Culture".

The "Thillai Aadavallaan Thirukkoyil" (also known as 'Chithambaram Temple') which has been an important temple associated with "Tamil Saivaism" heavily patronised and developed by the Tamil Chola Emperors and which was under the purview of "Tamil Nadu Inthu Ara Nilayam", again went into the hands of "Theetchithar who are decendents of the Vedic Priests who migrated from Andhra Pradesh", and who are deterring the practice of "Tamil Saivaism", "singing of Tamil Thevaarap pathikamkal of Thirumuraikal within the temple", and in the "re-introduction of the age old Tamil Saivite Othuvaar system which was introduced into Saivite Temples by the great Rajaraja Chola - 1 and was in practice for many long years".

Theetchithar are Vedic Priests from Andhra Pradesh who came into Thillai Thalam during the period of rule of Naayakkar kings of Thanjavur, who dominated and suppressed the Tamil Saivite Priests and some Vedic Priests from Gauda Desa already conducting Temple Rituals at Thillai Aadavallaan Thirukkoyil with the royal patronage of the Naayakkar kings. With the commencement of Naayakkar rule over Thillai it was renamed as "Chithamparam" around the year A.D.1535 under the king Sevappa Naayakkar ruling from Thanjavur.
"The massive Aadavallaan Thirukkoyil (Chithamparam Nadarajar Temple) complex, all it Properties & Assets - namely the Lands and the incomes from them, the Iympon & Bronze Icons of Deities, the Temple Jewellery, the Gold & Money - were donations and endowments made essentially by the Pallava, Chola and Pandiya Kings to this Temple - the great Religious Centre of the World Tamil Saivite Community.
Hence all Properties and Assets of this Temple at any time rightly belongs to the entire Word Tamil Saivite Community. Same should not be made the "Sole Property" of a handfull of "Deekshithar" - the Vedic Priests from Andhra, who came to limelight only after the fall of the Naayakkar Kings and took complete control of same claiming themselves as the "Sole Owners" of the - "Sen Thamilar Thenkoyil" as referred in the Tamil Inscription in this temple, of the period of Vikkrama Cholan (A.D.1118-1136) as follows:.

"Deekshithars" or their fore-fathers never built this Temple for them to become the "absolute owners" of the Temple, and they were never referred to as Thillaivaal Anthanar at any time, but only as "Deekshithar". This is a Temple built developed and sections added time to time by the Tamil kings of Tamil Nadu, which are confirmed by the Tamil Inscriptions on the Temple itself which have been already copied and published in "South Indian Inscriptions Vol 4" etc. There are no references whatsoever to "Deekshithars" in any Inscriptions of this Temple.
Further they also replaced the "Tamil Saivite (Agamic) form of worship" of this Temple with the "Sanskrit Vedic form of worship" and also discontinued the practice of Othuvaars singing "Thevarems" (Thiruppathikam) from the Tamil Thirumuraikal at this temple.
Hence it is very essential that all "Tamil Saivites in Tamil Nadu and World over" should vehementally protest against this Temple being re-privatised, and becoming the "Sole Property of a handfull of Deekshithars", and should take every endevour to see same comes under the purview and complete control of the "Inthu Araneri Thurai of Tamil Nadu"
The Former Chief Minister C.N.Annadurai of Tamil Nadu refers to the above unfortunate situation in many Saivite and Vaishnavite - Temples of Tamil Nadu as follows:

Renovations of Historic Temples of Tamil Nadu
The granite Temples of Tamil Nadu are being ruined by the "Trustees, and Managing Bodies of these Temples" - They with intensions of renovating these temples have applied modern paints both on the interior and exterior of the Temple and on the granite Gopurams without allowing them to have their serene granite appearence of these Temples, thus completely loosing their Artistic & Aesthetic value. This type of painting areas of the Temples are also ruining the Epigraphical value of the Inscriptions on the Walls and Pillars and in other areas of these Temples. In the process of renovations, stone slabs with Inscriptions should be preserved in their actual locations and not replaced with new even if they are cracked but be repaired, without replacing them with new granite slabs. Also the cleaning of the structure of these Temples with modern "Sand blasting method" and the other "renovations of the Historic Temples too should be done only under the supervision of expert Archeological Officers" to prevent the defacing of the valuable Inscriptions on them which throws much light on the Tamilian History of Tamil Nadu, and also the beauty and sharpness of the "Beautiful Sculptures" and the valuable "Ancient Paintings" in these Temples. Contracts for Renovations of Temples should not be given for 'unscrulpus Contractors who doesnot have any Artistic & Historic sense of appreciation of these Temples and value them".
Prevention of the practice of the "Ancient and Traditional Sporting Event of Valour" of Tamil Nadu - the "Earu Thaluvuthal" (Jallikattu=Taming of Bulls)
"Earu Thaluvuthal" or "Vidai Urthal" presently known as "Sallikattu" (Jallikattu) - an Ancient Tamilian Sporting Event of Valour" of Tamil Nadu - has been recently banned in Tamil Nadu on the grounds of Animal cruelty. This 'Traditional Tamilian Sporting Event' should be re-introduced with 'Guidance Rules' to prevent any 'lapses and extremes' on the part of some stray 'Jallikattu Practitioners' towards the humane handling of the Animals'
Important Note:
The Office which insisted on the Ban of the Tamil Sporting Event "Earu Thaluvuthal" (Jalli Kattu) on the basis of In- Humane Approach towards Animals, should first concentrate on the "complete Ban" of Animal Sacrifice in some Temples in India and "on the killing and consumption of the Animal Flesh" in whole of India.

Measures to be undertaken in Tamil Nadu to prevent the death of Tamil Language & Culture in Tamil Nadu itself
If this situation is not corrected immediately - it will gradually pave way to the "death of Tamil - Language & Culture "and the Tamil Race" within Tamil Nadu itself" in the next few decades - as it has happened to "Tamil Language" in Kerala (former Tamil - Chera Nadu, Aye Nadu) where it was the 'language of the entire region of Kerala' - historically from B.C.450 (the period of Mahabharatha war) to A.D.1200, after which it was gradually dominated by the newly developed "Malayalam Language" (a mix of Tamil, Sanskrit and Tulu), lost it's status with the migration of Namboothiri Brahmins from Tulu Nadu into Kerala, who developed the Malayalam Language and made it a dominant Language over the already existing Tamil Language which was entirely replaced during the period of formation of new States of India in the year 1956 based on the Languages spoken widely. Thus "Malayalam Language" thus became the Official Language of the region. (Refer my other "Thread" titled - "A brief study on the origin of the Malayalam Language" in this same Website)
Hence to prevent same in the present day Tamil Nadu, and in the process of Re-Tamilising the whole of present day Tamil Nadu in every field it will be much prudent if certain measures as suggested below are put into practice within Tamil Nadu, to ensure Tamil Language and Tamil Culture continue to survive in Tamil Nadu preventing it being further adulterated, disseminated and undermined by the English Language and the Western Culture, and by the Languages and Cultures practised by the people from the other States of India settled in Tamil Nadu - which is the actual reality in Tamil Nadu of today.
(1) All Tamils of Tamil Nadu should be "very proud" - to talk and communicate with all other Tamils throughout Tamil Nadu and World over in beautiful, rich, and prestigious Tamil Language - a language which was adored and spoken by great Tamil - Poets, Kings, Emperors and Tamil People of Tamil Nadu over a period of three millenium - the "Original Natives of Tamil Nadu" (Mannin Mainthar) from time immemorial

Hence all Tamils of Tamil Nadu should speak in Tamil with the other fellow Tamils and that too if possible in beautiful "Elocution Tamil". They should talk in English Language "only" with those who have as their "mother tongue" a different Language other than Tamil, and thereby not knowing to converse in Tamil Language.

(2) The study of "Tamil - Language, Literature", Selected Sections of "Thirukkural" - the Ancient Tamil Code of Ethics, and the "History of - Tamil Nadu & India" be made compulsory to "all" in schools and colleges both in the government and private sector of Tamil Nadu up to 8th standard. English being an International communication language be made the compulsory second language to all, while either Hindi or the Mother-tongue (optional) of other Races of India settled in Tamil Nadu be made the third Language also upto 8th standard.

(3) The media of education of "all other" Arts & Science subjects in schools and colleges both in government and private sector too should be in Tamil upto the 8th standard. From 9th standard onwards the Students could deviate towards their respective professional studies in English enabling them to secure Job opportunities and openings not only in Tamil Nadu, but also in other States of India and in Foreign Countries overseas.

However the Students who have chosen to continue all their studies in Tamil even after the 8th standard, and do their Medicine, Science, Engineering or other Professional Studies in Arts, Commerce, Accountancy, Banking, Management etc etc in Tamil medium in the Universities, Medical Colleges, Engineering Colleges and other Institutions of Tamil Nadu, possibly opting to work within Tamil Nadu instead of going to work in other States of India or Overseas, then it should be made "mandatory" that all Government Departments and Private Organisations "within Tamil Nadu" to give "first preferance" in Job Placements to those who have done their Professional Studies in Tamil.

This will pave way for the gradual transformation of the above Sectors in Tamil Nadu to function entirely in Tamil very successfully and efficiently within a decade or two, as it has taken place very successfully in many other countries such as Holland, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, China, Japan Korea etc etc etc.
(4) All seeking Government and Private sector Employment at all levels within Tamil Nadu, should posses a basic certificate in Tamil Language, and should be willing to work, communicate and correspond in Tamil with the co-employees of these Employment sectors - where possible.
(5) As already suggested and activated by the Government of Tamil Nadu, all Civil Court Procedures and Hearings should be conducted in Tamil, with the relevent Court Records documented and filed in Tamil.
(6) The Hindu Temples in Tamil Nadu should appoint Tamil - Saivite & Vaishnavite Priests in all Temples, and the practice of all daily Poosai valipadukal and Ritual performances, and all Rituals at the 'Annual Festival' and as and when at the 'Kudamullukku Thiru Vilaa' of these temples - should be as per Agamas and in Tamil with the holy Hyms sung - selected from the twelve "Tamil Saiva - Thirumuraikal" and "Tamil Vainava - Naalaayira Thivya Pirapantham". The re-introduction of the 'abondoned Tamil' - 'Othuvar' and 'Araiyer' - Systems, should also take place, thus reviving and promoting the 'undermined age old Tamil' - Saivaism & Vaishnavaism temple traditions.

All High Priests and Lesser Priests of the Siva & Vishnu Temples in Tamil Nadu "should come forward" to recite the "Tamil Thevaara - 'Poattri' Thiruppathika Manthirankal" from the Tamil Thirumuraikal, and selected Pathikams from the Tamil Naalaayira Thivya Pirapantham to the Images of God Siva & God Vishnu "at the Karuvarai of these Temples" instead of the Sanskrit Vedic Mantras. During the Annual Festivals of these Saiva & Vaishnava Temples in the connected Poosai valipaadukal and temple processions the 63 - Tamil Saiva Saints & 12 Vaishnava Saints of Tamil Nadu too should be be given much reverence and worship..

In all Saivite and Vaishnavite Thirukkoyikal throughout Tamil Nadu it is the Thamil Manthiranghal from Thamil - Thirumuraikal and Naalayira Thivya Pirapanthangal that - "should always be ringing in the ears of the Devotees". Also these Temples should be referred to as "Thirukkoyilkal" in Tamil and not as "Devasthaanams" in Sanskrit both in practice and in their Name Boards.

(7) 'At 'Tamil Music festivals' throughout Tamil Nadu only "Tamil - Songs and Keerththanangal" of "Thamil Isai Mumoorthikal - Muthuthandavar, Arunachala Kavirayar, Marimutha Pillai and 'many others' of Tamil Nadu, and Paadalkal from volumes of Ancient Tamil Literature, and Religious Compositions such as Tamil - Thirumuraikal and Naalayira Thiviya Pirapantham etc - should be sung on the performing stages, while those who wish to retain the Karnatic (Carnatic) Music and develop same could do so but with the festivals being called as 'Karnatic (Carnatic) Music festivals' with Telugu & Kannada Keeththanangal being sung on these performance stages without restrictions.

All associations and institutions promoting Tamil Isai (Music) should be known as 'Thamil Isai Kalagam or Sangam' or as 'Thamil Isai Valarchi Kalagam or Sangam' and not as Sangeetha Saba or Sageetha Gaana Saba. Same should be the case with the associations and institutions which are developing and promoting the Thamil Naatiyam and Naatakam in Tamil Nadu.
(8) The Tamil Nadu Archaeological Department should be provided with "adequate Funds & Encouragement" by the Government of Tamil Nadu to educate and train "many New Students" in the field of Archaeology and Epigraphy and do active Historical Research in Ancient, Medieval & Later - History of the Tamils of Tamil Nadu, and on the Tamilians and their Culture of these periods.
They should also revive the earlier abondoned Project on "Digitalising" of around 65,000 Tamil Inscriptions still in the "Enstampage Format" lying in the Mysore Archaeological Department without being published. This Project completed successfully will shed 'more light' on the Ancient, Medieval & Later - History and Culture of the Tamilians of Tamil Nadu, and the Goverment of Tamil Nadu should give "top most priority" to same and arrange to "Document them Digitally"..
(9) It should be mandatory that all Tamil Nadu Government Departments and Private Business Centres, Banks, Schools, Colleges, Universities and other Academic Educational Institutions, Vocational Centres, the Malls, Super Markets, Shops and other Trades and Service Centres throughout Tamil Nadu - should have their Names, Name-boards and Instruction-boards "necessarily" first in Tamil followed by English.

(10) It should be made mandatory that all Street Names throughout Tamil Nadu should necessarily be in Tamil followed by English.
(11) It should also be made mandatory that all Transport Services such as Buses, Trains serving within and originating from Tamil Nadu, should have destination names in Tamil followed in English and Hindi
(12) All TV Channels of Tamil Nadu should have their Programes explicitely projecting the culture, traditions and values of Tamil Nadu, and should not introduce scenes in the Serials and Programes injurious to same. TV News Readers and Programme Leaders both Males and Females who are important people in projecting the Tamil Culture and Traditions to all TV Viewers around the World should nicely and neatly dress in the traditional Saree, Poo, Pottu, Mel-Angi and Vesti, and speak in sweet Tamil without any mix of English words. They should refrain from projecting themselves to the audiences around the world wearing Tee-Shirts and Denim Trousers or other Western Dresses such as Trousers (Slacks) Shirts and Overcoats, and talking in Tamil mixed with more English Words - the Tam-English.
(13) The Tamil Film Producers of Tamil Nadu for the sake of much profits from Films produced, should not introduce scenes that are injurious to the Tamil Cultural values of Tamil Nadu, but should explicitely project the culture, traditions and values of the Tamilians of Tamil Nadu to the external World. Tamil Films Producers should also "give much opportunities" to the "Native Tamilian - Males & Females" to act in "Tamil Films that are produced in Tamil Nadu" - with "stories surrounding Tamil Families both in the cities and villages of Tamil Nadu" and "portraying the Tamilian way of life", instead of giving most of the opportunities to non-Tamilian Actors and Actresses from the other states of India, many of whom cannot speak even few words properly in Tamil.
