We will always have our regular dose of the Akilan's, Velmurugan's, Illamaran's and Vijayaratnam's. No escaping from hate and hypocrisy.
In this case, Lyca backing out is the logical conclusion given their controversial link-ups with Rajapakshe. Hard on Lyca especially as we know so many businesses and leaders in Tamil Nadu and India have cordial/business relationships with Sri Lanka. Plus the fact, as you rightly say, this is Lyca's product and he has every right to release it his way. And no body has issues for Kaththi releasing in countries where Sri Lankan tamils dominate.
All these are fine, but unfortunately though, we are here in Tamil Nadu and we have got used to all these petty politics and hence we have to buckle down. See if Thalaivaa happens again it will be tough to expect producers, theatre owners and the public to have the same level of confidence in Vijay movies as before.
Velmurugan or Saranidharan or whoever here are such low-lives. They will go nowhere. Giving them reasons to smile today will ensure they will mourn and cry for the rest of their lives. Hence, taking them head-on is not a wise thing.
BTW, all is well that ends well. Hoping to see our Man in action tomorrow.

I don't understand why there is a blame on Lyca here? they have invested money and they have every rights to use their logo, i can understand their adamancy not to change the rights to different production house, it's not a temporary issue for them, if they compromise for this they can never do the business in TN in the same name.
