After the Amma- Chamber Problem the Mammotty and Mohanlal has delivered 6 hits (2 super hits (Naatu.. & Kaazcha) and 1 Blockbuster (UT)) while Dileep gave 2 duds (Vettom and Rasikan).
By the way Lal & Mammo has acted only 6 films.

Does that means Dileep's magic (?) over Audience is over?????

Dileep losing the race with Prithvi?

After Mammooty and Mohanlal, it was Dileep who had a good hold over
the audience. Things are now deteriorating fast for him nowadays. A
few years ago, there was a spate of new heroes in Malayalam like
Jishnu, Prithviraj, Siddharth and others. When they acted together,
they were able to attract the audience. But, when they started acting
alone, nobody wanted to see them.

Somehow, Prithviraj managed to beat the competition. That was when
the crippling film industry strike began. A superstar was responsible
for the strike but when it was all over, it was Prithviraj who had
become the Enemy No 1 of the film industry.

But Prithviraj found a good friend in director Vinayan. Unlike other
directors and film makers, he didn't bow under pressure and throw
Prithviraj out of his films. Just as Prithviraj's career-graph was
heading upwards, there was another actor whose films began flopping
in a row. Dileep was baffled by a series of flops that began
with `Vettam' and continues with `Rasigan'. Most directors who had
signed him up for their films began canceling their projects.

Prithviraj meanwhile has accepted an offer from Viji Thambi and Shaji
Kailash. These are directors who work only with superstars!

And, Dileep is betting heavily on his new film `Kochi Raajav'.
