தமிழ் திரை உலகை பொறுத்தவரை , ஒரு நடிகர் உச்சத்தை தொட்டு விட்டார் என்றால் அவர் படங்கள் சாதனை படைக்க வேண்டும்(அவரது படங்கள் தோல்வியே அடையக் கூடாது என்று அர்த்தம் இல்லை).அந்த நடிகரின் வெற்றி படங்களின் சாதனையை முறியடிக்க மற்றவர்கள் ரொம்ப கஷ்டபட வேண்டும்.

இதை விரிவாக விளக்க தேவை இல்லை.

அதே போல் அந்த நடிகருக்கு அரசியல் ரீதியாக ஏதாவது பிரச்சனை வந்தால்,படம் நன்றாக இல்லாமல் இருந்தாலும் படம் பெரிய வெற்றி பெற வேண்டும்.

1973-ல் mgற்க்கும் கருணாநிதிக்கும் பிரச்சனை வெடித்த போது வெளி வந்த படம் தான் உலகம் சுற்றும் வாலிபன். இந்த படத்தை பற்றி எதுவும் சொல்ல தேவை இல்லை.

1992-ல் ரஜினிக்கும் ஜெயலலிதாவுக்கும் பிரச்சனை வெடித்த போது வெளி வந்த படம் தான் அண்ணாமலை.
முதல் பாதி நன்றாக இருக்கிறது.இரண்டாம் பாதியில் தியேட்டரில் படுத்து தூங்கி விடலாம் என விகடன் விமர்சனம் எழுதியது. இருந்தாலும் அவரது ரசிகர்களும்,பொது மக்களும் படத்தை வெற்றி பெறச் செய்தனர்.

2013-ல் விஸ்வரூபமும் பிரச்சனையை சந்தித்தது. ஒரு சராசரி ரசிகன் பார்த்து ரசிக்க கூடிய படம் கிடையாது. இருந்தும் படம் பெரிய வெற்றி பெற்றது.

என்னுடைய கேள்விகள்
1.விஜய்யின் எந்த படம் மற்ற நடிகர்களின் படங்களை காட்டிலும் சாதனை படைத்து இருக்கிறது?
2.ஏன் விஜய்யின் தலைவா படம் தோல்வி அடைந்தது?

Apadiyae prechanoda release aana kathi/thupakki padam pathiyum pesalam... also Uthama villain and baba.. All these movies had problems if I am not wrong and the amount of change in online prints and cd/dvd's available today

Being a top star of India's fan... the bothering feeling you have with Vijay is the Growth of his... Simple.

Sir,

Thalaivaa is not as that big a flop as you project. It managed decent numbers in spite of releasing 2 weeks later than the overseas. You can check the same in the first page as well

Also, it doesnt necessarily mean every film that faces a problem due to political reasons has to be a hit. Baba faced similar uproar from PMK during its release. What happened at the end? The fans would've given an extraordinary opening but if the film is not upto the mark, it will end up as a loss. Doesnt matter who the lead is.. Vishwaroopam was a good film and contrary to your opinion, it is a commercial film blended with Kamal's nuances in film making. Hence it became a hit. Had Manmadhan Ambu released then, it would still be a flop too..

Kaththi and Thuppakki faced issues too.. But you carefully avoided it since they are 'Murugadoss films'.. When Vijay films dont do well, Vijay and his fans are the reason. When it does well, the director is the reason. Good.

FYI...Thalaivaa, despite a 10 day delay in release in TN, grossed close to 7.4crores in 3 weeks as per BW report that time. Compared to some other movies which also faced delays (much less than 10 days) and made 1/3 rd of this amount within the same span.

Forget delayed releases, this amount is more than the lifetime earnings of lots of normal releases of other stars.
