IR had won it earlier adn now ARR has won it!
He has proven to be a worthy successor to IR.
Now the question is who will come up and keep the flag flying high?

The number of awards received by him may exceed even the number of tunes he had created so far. In the beginning of this year it self, A.R.Rahman is going to receive yet another award.
Latha Mangeshker, the blessed singer, though her hair had grayed, the voice remain as young as ever. She has been born in Madhya Pradesh, Indore. Her voice had attracted people not only India but also worldwide. Her state had given an honour to her by creating a award in her name, to be given to the person who had achieved something special in Cine field.
In this year, A.R.Rahman, has been selected to receive this award. This award is yet another feather in his cap.
This award will be given through the Ministry of Culture of the state of Madhya Pradesh. Along with the citation, One lakh rupees will also be given. This function is going to be held on coming April 24th. At the inaugural day of the cultural feat, which starts on 22nd, the 'Isai puyal' is going to conduct Musical Program there. Just for this alone the M.P. Government may give him more awards.
