Red Giant Movies acquires ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’


Gowtham Menon isn’t patently an unorthodox filmmaker with immense knowledge over technical arenas, but makes sure that his film is sold out as well. His previous film ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ was produced by Aascar Ravichandran and later got sold out to Dayanidhi Azhagiri of Cloud Nine Productions. Now, his own production ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’ has been acquired by Udayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies for a record breaking price.

Sources have revealed that the film will be hitting screens on February 19 so as to promote the film via ‘Rahman’ factors after the results of Grammy Awards… At the moment, Gowtham has joined hands with Dayanidhi Azhagiri for the next film starring Ajith Kumar in lead role.

Now, Gowtham can take a cakewalk with good profit much prior to the film’s release….

பிரபல கிரிக்கெட் வீரர் சடகோபன் ரமேஷ், பட்டாபட்டி' என்ற படத்தின் மூலம் சினிமா கதாநாயகன் ஆகியிருக்கிறார். இந்த படத்தை சன்ரா மீடியா பிலிக்கர் ஸ்டூடியோ சார்பில் வெங்கட்ரமணி தயாரிக்கிறார். யுவராஜ் டைரக்டு செய்கிறார்.

புகழ்பெற்ற ஒரு கிரிக்கெட் வீரர், 20 வருடங்களுக்குப்பின் தன் சொந்த கிராமத்துக்கு போகிறார். அப்போது அவர் வாழ்க்கையில் ஏற்படும் சம்பவங்களே இந்த படத்தின் கதை. இதில் சடகோபன் ரமேஷ், கிரிக்கெட் வீரர் சடகோபன் ரமேஷாகவே நடிக்கிறார். அவருக்கு ஜோடியாக, கேரள அழகி ஹரிணி நடிக்கிறார்.

கதாநாயகன் சடகோபன் ரமேஷ் தன் சின்ன வயது காதலியை, 20 வருடங்கள் கழித்து சந்திக்கும்போது ஏற்பட்ட சந்தோஷத்தில், இருவரும் உதட்டோடு உதடு முத்தம் கொடுப்பது போல், படத்தில் ஒரு காட்சி இடம்பெறுகிறது.

இந்த காட்சி பற்றி சடகோபன் ரமேஷிடம் டைரக்டர் யுவராஜ் விளக்கியபோது, முத்தக்காட்சியில் நடிப்பதற்கு சடகோபன் ரமேஷ் தயங்கினார். படத்தின் கதைப்படி அந்த காட்சி அவசியம் என்று டைரக்டர் வற்புறுத்தியதன் பேரில், அவர் நடிக்க சம்மதித்தார்.

சடகோபன் ரமேஷ் வெட்கத்துடன் பயந்துகொண்டே முத்தக்காட்சியில் நடித்ததால், காட்சி சரியாக அமையவில்லை. 12 டேக்'குகளுக்குப்பின், அந்த காட்சி படமாக்கி முடிக்கப்பட்டது.

மறுநாள், சடகோபன் ரமேஷ் கடுமையான காய்ச்சலால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டார். அவர் சம்பந்தப்படாத மற்ற காட்சிகள் படமாக்கப்பட்டன.

முத்தக்காட்சியில் நடித்ததால்தான் காய்ச்சல் வந்ததா?'' என்று சடகோபன் ரமேஷிடம் கேட்கப்பட்டது.

அதற்கு அவர், முத்தக்காட்சியில் நடித்தபோது பயமும், தயக்கமும் ஏற்பட்டது உண்மை. அதனால்தான் காய்ச்சல் வந்ததா என்று தெரியவில்லை'' என்று சிரித்தபடி பதில் அளித்தார்.

Asin, who was in Delhi to compere the fifty-fifth edition of the Filmfare Awards, told the reporters, “I have no films as of now. All that I can reveal is that future projects are under consideration and I can’t talk about them until the producers give me a go-ahead.”

The actress, who won the best newcomer award for Ghajini, says that all the projects for which she is being considered are still in its nascent stages. She declared that once these projects take off and everything falls into place, she would announce to the media.
