Vamsy also named himself as "Vamsy Ilayaraaja". I remeber seeing this name on audi cassettes for joker. I was for a moment left wondering if IR had adopted Vamsy!!

BTW there are many free file sharing networks available in net.
Some are filefront.com, rapidshare.com, turboupload.com, upload.com etc., I use either filefront where the file never gets deleted or rapidshare where the file is kept for 1 month without anybody downloading it. other networks delete it within a week or 15 days time

Way back in 80's vamsi had a every good rapport with IR. It was so strong that Ir had a special care for Vamsi. Since, IR was terribly busy those days he used to give away cassettes containing rough tunes to very selected directors to pick the songs.

I was told that vamsi also had so many of those cassettes and probably he could have used some of those tunes . I recently read in an Interview with MM Keeravani ( Maragathamani) as to why he could only work for one film with Vamsi. The reason he quoted was, vamsi used to inisits on using his tunes.

One film which IR did not do for Vamsi during 80's was lawyer suhasini for which Vamsi used SPB.( I think it should because the producers could not afford IR) You will also find the songs having shades of IR .
