    One strange thing I noticed is how ther happen to be more than 1 serial showing Sri Rangam kovil (esp. the elephant) at the beginning of the theme song!
    They showed it so in Chitthi, then Manaivi, now even Penn!
    'wonder wat fascinates them so much abt the kovil at SR??!
    Do they wan2 project ther serials as traditonally-oriented? However, the theme song doesnt seem so in Penn wher they hav fast music & those pseudo rap dancers!

    Yup, as I mentioned, the kovil elephant @Sri Rangam (wich seems to be the most preferred spot to shoot the themes of serials nowadays! )

    Aah yes forgot its by CJ Bhaskar! 'wonder y he likes to hav tat opening scene tho.........does he hail from SR or does he jus like the place......
    IMO it doesnt suit the theme song of penn tho, as the music turns out to be more of a 'modern' soundtrack....
