Sometimes we do... communicate in English...
Thats natural.. we speak in Tamil as well as English..
I think BG has used it just to stress that Shree comes from a well-educated family..
Am i rite BG ?

This normally happens in well-educated Iyengar families ! They normally converse in English with ppl from their own network ! I dont say this to be boasting, but this is natural in such families ! This has been in practice even before independence !

WOW ! here is a stamped example, ARTHI
well, i have tried to make conversations in English only when there is a talk between dad n Shree, Chittappa n Shree, sometimes Sharmi n Shree .... probably Aswath also will fall n that cadre, coz that fellow is kind of a guy from a rich background, with ppl from his family staying abroad !
I guess i made justice, when ppl say it has really jelled with the story line Thanks Arthi !
