The director who suits the best with ARR

ARR has worked with a lot of directors in India. He has worked with accomplished directors, some average ones and also newcomers. But of them all, only a few have been able to do justice to his music with their tune selection, stunning visuals, apt situations, suitable artistes, etc. Even some mediocre directors have been able to bringout the best from ARR in terms of songs and BGM. I have listed down some of them who've brought out the best from him. So i wanted to share that with all other ARR fans by starting a poll..

The credit should go to Mani R for identifying a great talent in ARR . So 70% marks to MR only.

Roja, AP , Bombay, Dilse - itself enough to talk about Mani R.

but someone who has been consistently holding on to ARR is Shankar who deserves 20% atleast .

Gentleman was vintage stuff & kadhalan too !

Chikkubukku rayile was a school anthem for me during 90s !

And Mudhalavane song was awesome picturisation !

K.Balachander was opportunitistic . He was looking for an IR alternative & just jumped on to ARR. Otherwise no great affinity or great picturisation.

Some marks to K.S.R. who showed the commercial angle of ARR in Muthu / Padayappa , the songs were more for the fans !

Last but not the least, one pat for Suresh Menon for Pudhiya mugam , a movie which made ARR a viable alternative for Isainyani

BR + ARR combo is hugely underrated:

    kizhakku cheemayilE
    taj mahAl
    KaNgaLaal kaidhu sei

May be due to the fact that the last two movies were colossal flops
