It is 10:30 p.m. My parents go on night shift everyday and I always stay alone at home. I am used to this routine and I like it, because my parents are always there during the day and when I come back from school. But today feels weird. There is some sort of silence surrounding me.

I feel loneliness around me. I have never felt this way my entire life. Why is this happening to me? I do not know. I can hear some noise. Someone is walking up my staircase. How can this happen? Probably it is the windows. How can the windows rattle by themselves? I guess it is the wind. It is probably blowing too much today. How is this possible? This place is not known for winds or anything like that. What is wrong with me? Is it probably because what happened the other day?

What is so special about what happened the other day? It is life. Everything is natural. The other day whatever happened was just fate. But it is my friend. So? It has happened to so many people. I have seen it happening to my grandparents. But why is it for this person that I feel so weird? It will happen to me also. So it is not a big deal. I don’t even know that person that well.
