Radhika is Chellamma
It’s time for mixed emotions for the fans of Radhika’s mega serials. For their favourite ‘Arasi’ is on her way out. She would however replaced by ‘Chellamma’, a new soap in the same 9.30 to 10 pm slot in Sun TV.
Radhika is playing the lead role Chellamma in this serial, which would also have her brother Radha Ravi in a pivotal character. Directed by Jawahar and produced by Radaan, the soap’s script is penned by Pon Kumaran.
Others in the cast include Delhi Ganesh, Ravikumar and Vasu Vikram. Dheena has scored the music. The serial would be aired from Mondays to Fridays starting 14 September.
Says Radhika, “I am hopeful that ‘Chellamma’ too would woo the viewers like all our serials did. It’s a story of love, friendship and family bonding. The script is so strong and it is penned in a way to attract the youth too.”

திங்கள் முதல் வெள்ளி வரை தினமும் இரவு 7 மணிக்கு மக்கள் தொலைக்காட்சியில் 10 வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட குழந்தைகள் நேரலையில் விளையாடும் கலகலப்பான விளையாட்டு நிகழ்ச்சி, `பட்டாம்பூச்சி'
கிராமங்களில் குழந்தைகள் இன்றும் விளையாடும் பிரசித்தி பெற்ற விளையாட்டு `கோழி பற பற, கொக்கு பற பற.' இந்த விளையாட்டை நிகழ்ச்சி தொகுப்பாளரோடு குழந்தைகள் விளையாடுவார்கள்.
இதையடுத்து வருவது கருத்து வினோத உருவம் சுற்று. இரண்டு உருவங்கள் இணைந்து ஒன்றாக இருக்கும். அது எந்தெந்த உருவங்கள் என்று சரியாக சொல்ல வேண்டும்.
அதைத்தொடர்ந்து கட்டத்துக்குள் மறைந்திருக்கும் பிரபலம் யார் என்று கண்டுபிடித்து சொல்ல வேண்டும். சரியாகச் சொன்னால் கைக்கடிகாரம், குறுந்தகடு, பள்ளி பை, தண்ணீர் குடுவை என்று பல பரிசுகளை வெல்லலாம்.

திங்கள் முதல் வெள்ளி வரை தினமும் இரவு 9.30 மணிக்கு வசந்த் டி.வி.யில் ஒளிபரப்பாகும் நடிகர் மயில்சாமியின் `ஜாலி டைம்' காமெடி நிகழ்ச்சி, 250-வது எபிசோடை எட்டவிருக்கிறது.
இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் நேயர்கள் போனில் கேட்கும் கேள்விகளுக்கு, நகைச்சுவையாக பதில் சொல்கிறார் நடிகர் மயில்சாமி. இடையிடையே திரைப்படங்களிலிருந்து காமெடி காட்சிகளும் ஒளிபரப்பாகிறது

சென்னையில் சின்னத்திரைக்காக இம்சை அரசன் 23-ஆம் எலிகேசி என்ற பெயரில் தயாராகி வரும் நகைச்சுவை தொடரின் படப்பிடிப்பு அதிவேகமாக நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.
இந்த தொடரில் வடிவேல் சேகர், வடிவேல் பாலாஜி, சுருளி மனோகர், முல்லை, பசி சத்யா, ஷோபனா, எப்சி, உஷா, குள்ள மணி நடித்து வருகிறார்கள்.
வசந்த் டி.வி.யில் விரைவில் ஒளிபரப்பாக இருக்கும் இந்த நகைச்சுவை தொடருக்கு கதை, திரைக்கதை, வசனம், இயக்கம்: கே.ஜெயமணி.

விஜய் டிவியில் ஏழு தைரியசாலி பெண்களுடன் துவங்கிய `அணு அளவும் பயமில்லை' நிகழ்ச்சியின் முதல் சுற்றில் தமிழ்நாடு காவல்துறை பட்டறையில் போட்டியாளர்களுக்கு பலதரப்பட்ட தைரியமூட்டும் பயிற்சிகள் வழங்கின.
இதுவரை உஜெய்னி மற்றும் சாந்தரா ஆகிய இருவர் போட்டியிலிருந்து நீக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். இனி வரும் சுற்றுக்களில் குட்டி பூஜா, தாரிகா, வி.ஜே.பூஜா, சந்தோஷி, ஆர்த்தி ஆகியோரிடையே கடும் போட்டி உண்டு.

How relevant is the joint family concept today? Can individuals survive without relationships? Even bosom pals turn enemies when money is at stake. Radaan TV’s ‘Chellamae,’ to go on air from September 14, looks at these issues with Radhika Sarathkumar leading the cast in the role of homely Chellamma.
Sharing screen space with her will be Delhi Ganesh, Radha Ravi, Vasu Vikram, Rajkamal, Mohini, Subashini, Sonia and Latha Rao. Temple towns such as Swami Malai, Kumbakonam and Tiruvidaimarudur form the backdrop for this serial directed by Jawahar.
Ponkumaran has written the story, screenplay and dialogue. Dhina has taken care of the music.

Kural Pesum Kural(Makkal TV, Sundays, 8.30 p.m.)
To commemorate its fourth year, Makkal TV is launching a new reality show on September 6.
‘Kural Pesum kural’ tests the oratory skills of students, based on the Tirukkural. The preliminary rounds were conducted in Chennai, Vellore, Coimbatore, Tiruchi, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Salem and Puducherry. The semi and final rounds will be shot in Chennai on lavish sets. The show is jointly presented by Makkal TV and Shriram Ilakkiya Kazhagam.

Naaga Mangai

The story revolves around an ichadhari snake that assumes a human form to avenge her parents’ death. The parents, the king and queen of Naag community, are killed for the precious nagamanickam. Before breathing her last, the queen tells her daughter to take revenge on the killers and restore the precious stone to their community.
Thus begins the saga of this snake-woman, who lives life like a normal girl, marries into the family of those who destroyed her family and plots her revenge.
