In a country where films are considered a religion and cine stars are placed on a monumental pedestal, the announcement about a new film of their favorite icon is bound to escalate the spirit of every eager fan. When it comes to Kamal Hassan who is known to eat, drink




breathe and cinema, his fans all round the globe are anticipating every film of his. The next project for this talented actor after Dasavatharam is reported to be with director Saran which will be produced by the London based Ayngaran International on a first copy basis. For Ayngaran, this is the second jackpot in line as they had already clinched the deal on the international distribution rights of super star's magnum opus Sivaji.

Nag Ravi who is better known as actress Sneha's former friend is likely to co-produce this movie. He is also a very good friend of Saran and is reported to stand by him in most of his endeavors.

In Kollywood, directing Kamal Hassan will be a tall dream for any aspiring director and for Saran opportunity seems to have knocked at his door for the second time. His earlier film Vasool Raja M.B.B.S with Kamal was also a hit. Thoroughly impressed by the professionalism demonstrated by Saran during the making of Vasool Raja M.B.B.S, Kamal had promised another film with him. By accepting to do a film with the director Kamal has kept his promise. Story of the film is still kept under wraps.

Saran is naturally delighted at the prospect of directing the veteran. His production company which released Muni recently is also said to be doing good business. This unnamed film will begin after the release of Dasavatharam in June and Kamal's brief respite following the release.
