That is a nice solo. Reminds me of Naadinaen Nambinaen (Saval) and Neeraada Naeram Nalla Naeram (Vaira Nenjam). MSV truly captured VJ's versatility in so many diverse songs from Ezhu Swarangalukkul to Anbae Pudhu Kavithaigal to Antha Naeram Poruththirundhaal to Mannulagil Indru Dhaevan...so many amazing solos.
Here's another good duet, but once again the visuals are kashtam

Trademark MSV number. Combines elements from various old tunes. Good listen. Thanks.

Thanks for the song Naaz. Most 80's songs that have video clips are not so pleasing enough to watch. These are the songs we grew up with listening through air (either our radio at home or neighbors). Whenever I listen to them, they take back to the world I lived in and YouTube videos have nothing with it. Anyhow, I found this video for one of 'peNNai solli kutRamillai' movie songs.

4 to 5 Sunday afternoons on AIR. During Ninaithale Inikkum days and the time period following that we used to forego one hour of cricket, waiting for new MSV gems (myself) and IR gems (my sibling). I may have mentioned it elsewhere: How many "adhisaya malarmugam dinasari palaragam" at the end in violin? May be 13 times? This is in response to Priya32's post.

An interesting MSV composition. LRE is featured, too?
Here's another to match your selection!:

Thank you for your posts. Welcome back! Kumari Pennin Ullaththilae was scored by S-G.

This is a fantastic solo by VJ. Of course, MSV's brilliance all over it!

Thanks Naaz. Here is another song I thought MSV composed and then someone ages back corrected me (incorrectly) it is SG and only now I discovered it is by IR.

That's a fun song in the "MGR Style". I always thought Poi Saatchi was by S-G!
Here's another fun duet for you:
