SP, Thanks for posting lyrics for, 'Vedham Anuvilum Oru Naadham' song, everytime I watch this song, I can feel the Guru Bakthi on S.P.Shailaja's dance through her expressions on this song! This song gives sad,sorrow and depressed (mixed) feeling whenever you watch it!

exactly, priya! but, even though this song is a sad/sorror/depressing one, there's something in this song that pulls me ( and I guess you too).... i can't put it into words what it is...

There are somethings which pull u towards certain songs for ABSOLUTELY UNKNOWN reasons.... Ive experienced it right from my young age of 8 or 10 (I aint exaggerating).

So whta can it be?

I can only attribute it to the RAAGA-tune(mettu) OF the song

Hmm..yes Shakthi ..in this case , that's probably right.

there was one particular song (I can't remember it now

), which I used to sing/listen to alot some years..the initial music always makes me picture a beautiful sunrise on a beach.

When we listen to the line 'Alaiyalaiyaaga' it creates ripples and waves in our mind...akin to the real one.
I am sure Waves of memories would moisten our minds, when we recollect this old-rare-gold hit.

Also lyricist's imagination knows no bound when he compares the greenery on the mountain as "malai mudi"
