Thanks for the excellent series on Periya Thevar. Since most of the hubbers have highlighted the specifics, I am not delving into it. But wanted to share one or two things.

I have a group of acquaintances (persons who are not members here) to whom I used to send the copy paste of NT film reviews done by me in order to keep them in the loop. First time I have copy pasted your series to them. ( Copy rights sandaikkellam vara maateenga-nu oru nambikkaithaan).

இரண்டாவது, இந்த தொடரில் 2,3 இடங்களில் வசனங்களை பற்றி பேசும்போது இது நேரோலியா இல்லை பின்னணி பேசப்பட்டதா என்று கேட்டிருந்தீர்கள். இது பின்னணி பேசியதுதான். 1992-ல் லைவ் ரெகார்டிங் வரவில்லை. மட்டுமல்ல, ஒரு முறை விகடன் பேட்டியில் கமல் இதை பற்றி சொல்லியிருந்தார்.

முதல் நாள் படப்பிடிப்பு. படத்தில் இடம் பெறும் அந்த நாற்காலி கிடைக்கவில்லை. அங்கே வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த நாற்காலிகள் கமலுக்கு பிடிக்கவில்லை. பொள்ளாச்சியில் படப்பிடிப்பு. கமல் மனதில் நினைத்திருந்த நாற்காலி சிங்காநல்லூரில் இருக்கிறது என்று செய்தி கிடைக்கிறது. உடனே அதை கொண்டு வர ஆள் போகிறார்கள். நடிகர் திலகம் " என்னப்பா ஆச்சு?" என்று கேட்க அவருக்கு தகவல் சொல்லப்படுகிறது. " ஏம்பா, ஒரு நாற்காலிக்காகவா ஷூட்டிங் நிறுத்தியிருக்கே?" என்று கேட்க கமல் சமாளிக்கிறார். நாற்காலி வருகிறது. படப்பிடிப்பு நடந்து முடிகிறது.

டப்பிங் பேச நடிகர் திலகம் வருகிறார். அப்போதுதான் முழு படத்தையும் பார்க்கிறார். இன்னும் சொல்லப்போனால் அப்போதுதான் அவருக்கு கதையே தெரிய வருகிறது.

"ஏன்டா படவா! நீ உட்காரத்தான் இந்த நாற்காலி வேணும்னு பிடிவாதம் பிடிச்சியா? நாட்டிலே அவனவன் வேற நாற்காலிக்கு ஆலா பறக்கறான். நீ என்னடானா இதை போய் வேணும்கிற" என்று NT கமெண்ட் அடிக்க, அதற்கு கமல் சொன்ன பதில் " அந்த நாற்காலியல்லாம் 5 வருஷத்திற்கு ஒரு தடவை காலி பண்ணி கொடுக்கணும். இந்த நாற்காலினா 30 வருஷத்திற்கு கவலை இல்லை."

Why I have quoted the above interview is, it was dubbing and not live recording. Kudos to NT!

Thank You Mr.Raghavendran. It was very nice of you to use these posts in your site which is a repository of Sivaji information. Many prior posts in this thread by many hubbers can also be organized into that section.

Thank you Mr.Murali. If it is dubbing, it is absolutely unbelievable. The grunt of pain in the arm, the suppressed swears are challenges even with live sound. With dubbing it is extraordinary.

No. As I said earlier, I don't think I have followed any other performance as closely as this. So I am unlikely to write as deeply about anything else. Will definitely try when I find time.
