mark antony is killed, police are satisfied, they thank baasha and pardon him.

police also erases baasha's records but one file was seen lying in a police file room.

baasha moves to other state, under another identity with mother and nagma.

he lives there peacefully but he has no children, his siblings are in foriegn,his cop brother now with interpol.

mother dies and baasha proceeds to TN to complete funeral rituals.

now TN is ruled by a weak coalition govt.with parties behaving selfishly.

mobs rule chennai city and there is chaos and corruption everywhere, mobs fight between themselves and kill anyone who comes in thie way.

a dynamic TV reporter(lady of course),played by asin is reporting about the criminal activities and other atrocities.

baasha comes home and has the first experience of the bad and grim situation, he is aroused but controls himself.

he goes to the temple to complete funeral rites and a clash between mobs spreads all over and in the process nagma gets killed.

manickam becomes baasha again.

he wrecks havoc on gangsters by killing them one by one(he recalls his former associates and recruits newer ones).
the city is releived as all major gangleader vanishes.

tbut the politicians are unhappy, after all they need these mobs for [power.

they appoint a police officer to investigate the man behind the killings.

the police officer, nasser, an honest one reopens the baasha files.

the lady reporter also conducts her own investigation about the guardian angel and falls in love for him.

the lady reporter finds out who is baasha and asks him to come to public, she also connveys her love for him, but he refuses.

she goes to nasser annd tellls all about baasha,

meanwhile the politicians and all the gansters left unite and frame a plan to trap baasha and kill him.
nasser comes to know of this and sends a secret message to baasha , that all gangsters are united and he can easily end all of them in one stroke, so that law and order is established.

a terrible fight, a war happens between baasha and gangsters's united band.
baasha finishes them all, and comes to nasser for surrender.

bvut nasser says it is he(police) who done this all and he has earased all of baasha's record.

so baasha again leaves in TN.
but as he moves away from nasser, a gun shot is heard and nasser is seen lying dead in a pool of blood.
nasser's debuty says it was the handiwork of a international terrorist whose case is now he is investigating.

now the camera shows the close up look of rajini' eyes full of anger and vengence.

next day we see the news paper headlines -international terrorist killed-mystery man behind killing'

now we see asin begging to rajini to accept her love, and he is saying

aana oru thadava kadhalicha athu ore thadavai than.


and laughs heavily with his usual style and begins to walk toward the horizon.

we see a red sun and sloka from bhagavat gita recited in the background

and in the titiles we see a CD with a name baasha is seen lying uncared in apolice record room/

rajini marries nayanthara and now lives in USA.
he is famous international psyciatrist solving paranormal problems and events.

now we come to Arjun, he is a military commander and a head of a elite commando force, he is skilled in all combat techniques.
he is also a zamindar's son with a ancestrol palace.
he loves simran from a poor family and marries her against his parents wish.
they all move to the ancestral palace.

there is a legend that a maharaja lived in the palace and was madly in love with a beautiful courtesan. but she loves one of his commanders(thalapathi).
the thalapathi was actually a weak person, but he becoems a great soldier by virtue of the magic potion given by the courtesan(drinkinig one drop will give the strength of 20 elephants).
that potion was given by a yogi to the dancer, when she saved him from droiwning in the river.
the king coming to know of this sets up the fight in which the lover is crushed by 20 elephants
and the coutesan escapes to forests and nobody knopws what happened to her, but villagers beleive that her ghost is still there to punish the decendents of the evil king.

simran comes to know of this and proceeds to find out that magic potion along with a treasure box hidden somewhere in the palace.namitha is arjun's morrai ponnu and it was shown her dislike for simran and her plans to remove simran from arjun's life.

simran finds out the potions an drinks it and gets enormous strength, she wanders in the neighbourhood and punishing evil doers and law breakers, whereas being a nice,kind housewife in the day time.but many mysterious things happen in the palace.

also legend spreads around the village about a mysterious tall women figure doing rounds in the nights, vivek as a vetti family member , with cross dressing as a psycholgical problem, creates fun and havoc in the neighbourhood, he walks around in women clothing in the night time.

so arjun on his friend prabhu's advice calls rajini from USA, who comes and begins his analysis,investigation,experiments and many other things as he thinks best.
he first doubts namitha who has the physical capacity to handle many men.but he slowly uncovers the truth.

meanwhile a dreaded gangster prakash raj along with his 20 henchmen comes and stays in the enarby forests, they are equipped with all kind of modern weaponary.he comes to know of that legend and plans to steal the potion and the treasure.he comes to know about simran, when she easily knocks out a group of his hench men , when they misbehave with a village
women, when simran was taking her nightly stroll.

he plans and traps simran, and in the psychotic state tells that he is her former lover(ie the thalapathi)and arjun is the king who must be killed, so that the lovers can live happily in the palace.

so simran plans many attempts to kill arjun, but everytime rajini saves him.
so as a final plan PR asks simran to lure arjun in a desserted fortress on full moon day, so that he can kill him.

also nayaanthara comes to visit rajini and also creates enough problems for rajini and delays him in solving all problems.

meanwhile rajini solves all of the case and mysteriously saves a yogi from drowning, and yogi tells all about the magic potion and the hidden treasure, he also gives rajini a magic talisman, which will help him bear any kind of physical assault.also he gives a antidote to the magic potion.
before rajini comes back to palace to tell arjun abiout this, simran lures him to the fortress,
she had previously given the magic potion to prakash raj(after herself drinking it) and he and his gang members now have superhuman strength.

when they proceed to kill arjun in the same place 20 elephants crushed the lover centuries ago, in the same arena,
rajini comes and saves arjun, but prakash raj and his men beat rajini severly, how can he fight 20 people with 20 elephant's strength each.

meanwhile simran and arjun fight one on one fight where arjun uses all his military tactics to match her, meanwhile rajini remembers the talisman given by the yogi, and he wears it, now he is not hurt even by these 20 people hitting him in all ways, and he begins to strike back easily knocking all one by one.

at one stage simran overpowers arjun and proceeds to kill him,rajini comes and saves him one last time, he also saves simran by giving her the antidote, which makes her normal/

everything ends happy and arjun thanks rajini very much,

rajini and nayathara are seen leaving for USA.

In case of sequels I would love to see-
*Iruvar-Definitely risky.I need not say who the duo are this time,but it would be really cool to see mani weilding the megaphone this time.

*Kushi-Vijay will seriously look brilliant in the role like that of Mohan(Mowna Ragam)/Ajith(Thodarum)/Rajni(Many movie-Netrikann particularly).A husband-wife story with lots of romance and pillow fights.

*Pesum padam-Nevertheless,an epitome of perfection continued.

What about prequels?
I would love to see:
*Anbe sivam-
Maybe the fellas could meet and travel on similar planes,in an even younger age.Or this way-The childhood of the duo is discussed where they never meet but we find it ironically the other way round.

Or maybe some kinda Knots-up....like Alien vs Predator,a character inspiration.Two characters from two different movies combined into one movie,preferrably of the same hero-
