Exact copy..this must have been requested by director..GVP is not that stupid to copy a famous song..that too without making any changes..
In Vellithirai, director viji asked to produce Keith Urban's Somebody like u in tamil

Well GVP already did that in Pollathavan. He copied the song Minnalgal Koothadum song from Akon's Smack that. So it wouldnt surprise me if he did the same here.

Music composer G V Prakash is certainly going great guns. The latest is that he's working with Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap on two projects!
"Yes," he confirms to TOI, "One is for a movie he's directing. It's set in five time periods and that's very interesting for me musically. The second one is for his production house, a film that's an interesting musical script with romance." In fact, when the director was in Chennai recently, GV met him to discuss the finalities on the mood of the music for the films.
Back in Kollywood, GV — whose last album was Aadukalam — is busy with a few big projects such as Vada Chennai and Maruvan. "Bollywood is important for me," he states, "I hope I rock there but Tamil is dear to me as it gave me the break."
