Vivek Oberoi will play the lead role in Bloody Paki that will be directed by Shaad Ali and Shiva and produced by Mani Ratnam. Vivek and Shaad had some differences in the past but Mani convinced them to patch up. Shaad had earlier directed the hit Vivek starrer Saathiya.

Chitrangada Singh had starred opposite Vivek in the movie. According to sources, it was Vivek who insisted that she should be replaced because she would look older to him. Genelia D'Souza has now been signed for the role.

Viveik Oberoi, son of Suresh Oberoi, holds a Masters degree in film acting from NYU. He made his debut in Bollywood with Ram Gopal Varma's film Company for which he won Filmfare awards in the best debut and best supporting actor categories. Viveik then starred in Road and Dum of which Dum fared badly at the box office. However, Viveik got a huge break in Yash Raj Films Saathiya with Rani Mukherjee. Saathiya emerged as a super hit and since then there has been no looking back for Viveik.

Viveik has since then worked in films like Yuva, Kaal, Omkara, Mission Istanbul, Shootout at Lokhandwala and Luck By Chance. His latest film Kurbaan with Kareena and Saif Ali Khan has been successful at the box office.

Confirming filmmaker’s list for Ajith Kumar’s 50th film has been the most spectacular thing happening over here in Kodambakkam. Earlier, Gowtham Menon was supposed to make a film with Ajith Kumar and that was to be produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri of Cloud Nine Productions. Now we hear that Gowtham and our ‘Thala’ will work together in future but not this time.

On the spur of moment, everything seems to have changed. Now, it’s Venkat Prabhu leading the list of finalized directors. Since, Dayanidhi Azhagiri is spending his time now at Tamil Chemmozhi Maanadu in Kovai; he will be confirming final crew soon after returning.

And then, there is special news for us all. Sivaji Productions will again make a film with Thala and the director, who is gonna join hands with him is known to be Vishnuvardhan. Both of them have rocked together previously in ‘Billa’.

So, Venkat Prabhu and Vishnuvardhan are the two directors on the list for Ajith’s next movie, where talks are going on…..
