The Wages of Fear I think Das Boot has some inspiration from this, at least the climax.

Ichi the Killer. wtf i don't even.. Audition was atleast intriguing & watchable (and lame in violence compared to this gorefest). Takashi Mike.. ya.. and people questioned Ruggero Deodato's sanity after 1 movie and Mike has been doing it for years.

deep red is just awesome. one of highest points in giallo genre (blood & black lace tops them all). see, Ms.Asia isn't the only good contribution to the world by Dario Argento.

    மொத்தமாக நான்கு படங்கள் இந்த வாரத்தில் கண்டுகளித்தேன்.. மூன்று டிவியில். நோலனுக்காக மட்டும் திரையரங்கில் ஒன்று.

    1) Dear John - Simple plot. But impressed with neat screen play, emotions and romance. Father-Son relationship nicely crafted.
    2) Pretty Woman - I stopped counting how many times I am watching this movie. Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. Classic.
    3) Signs - Admiring the vision of Night Shyamalan. He has the talent to bring the fear on anything without showing the real image. Mel Gibson lived in the courageous character Graham. Loved his cool conversations with kids even during at scary moments.
    4) The Dark Night Rises. - As the title implies, Darkness in society shown and the pain from it was acknowledged. A powerful and great film from Nolan. First 6 minutes simply blown away. What a direction. He gives new dimension to Hollywood commercial movies. An opt creation to end Batman's Triology. Spectacular.

The Avengers. Expected it to suck in Marvel-way, but surprisingly a decent flick with Whedon(Firefly) able to bring out the two-way relationship between phantasmagoric enemy standing in for real world 'enemy', and the heroes standing-in for the real world weapons of mass destruction.

It's frightening to note similarities in both Marvel and DC films this year.
