Emoticons and editing problems (More confusions)

Hope more emoticons are coming soon! No clapping hands now for my daily joy of celebrating completion of the day's crossword puzzle!
And I find it diificult to put the emoticon where I want to! It gets stuck on the top- at the end of 'title'! why a 'Title'?

If you go to post your reply in "advanced" instead of "quick reply" (you will see a button titled "Go Advanced" at the bottom right corner of the quick reply box), there you will find all our normal emoticons including

Thank you, Q! As you suggested I went to my settings and in the 'miscellaneous' settings made changes and now I have happily using my favourite old emoticons.

Go to Settings -> My settings -> General settings -> Micellaneous options. Select "Standard editor - Extra formatting", and 'Save changes'.
