Definitely not 90s. Maybe last 5-6 years, not older. If it was older than that, I would have known for sure because I was more in touch with TFM at that time. Unfortunately, don't know who the MD might be. Maybe one of the new composers like GVP or Vijay Anthony but, again, just a wild guess. In that song, it was as if the opening verse of Love will save the day was taken and rendered in staccato instead of legato (which is what gave it the Tamil/Carnatic flavour). I am very bad at remembering the words of songs otherwise I could have simply googled that and found out by now.

The first line of melody is almost identical to that Love Will Save The Day song I linked earlier.
