Watched it... There is nothing about the movie to show it on high lights, but there is something to like it.
Even though, It was below the expectation I had, but not disappointing.

Appadi naa, there was nothing about Alaipaiyuthey to show on high lights. Sumaar kathai disguised with good chemistry and acting carried these films. OKK follows suit.

Watched it, Vintage Mani love story. Was satisfied but the movie lacked a good plot. It was a movie put together with interesting scenes. That's how I see it. the movie does not have underlying current going beneath which makes it superficial.
Rahman ji saves the move big time. Both songs which was forced (Aye Sinamika and paranthu sellava) were completely rescued by ARR and PC.
Best ARR work I have seen. Beautiful songs and BGM. Songs are fantastic and top notch and Mani chooses to put the best pick of the album in the background (naane varugiren)
Dulquer is apt choice. he looks fantastic. Nithya has very expressive eyes , good acting but is not fit.
OK for one time watch. But movie is superficial like I had mentioned.
Will watch again in DVD for ARR,PC for sharp dialogues with usual Mani's touch.

Mani Ratnam's 'OK Kanmani' to be remade in Hindi?
If sources in the industry are to be believed, Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani is all set to be remade in Hindi. Reports say that Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapoor will be reprising the role of Nithya Menon and Dulquer Salmaan from the original.
Shaad Ali, a former associate of Mani Ratnam who remade Alaipayuthey as Saathiya in Hindi will be remaking OK Kanmani as well.
It is said that Alia Bhat and Varun Dhawan was supposed to do the project but because of their busy schedules, they are replaced by Sonakshi and Aditya.
Reports say that songs composed by AR Rahman for OK Kanmani will be retained for Hindi version too.
