@ 1:58, the song is spirtually uplifted. I've cried many times when I reach this part of the song.

YES! The start is kind of surreal & detached (almost cold even) and then at 01:58 like you said, its something else. Really warm and beautiful. Always puts a smile on my face. :]
I've also revisited Kannukal Kannai:
It gets bad ass at 02:00!
