Kugan, what moor rasam? I have heard of so many rasams. This is the first time hearing about moor rasam. Normally in our house, we only do parrpu rasam and poondu rasam. It is time to try out on different types of rasam.
Let me try this moor rasam first. Gulabjamun.

    KEERAI KUZHAMBU (Kugan)

Friends, normally we will make keerai poriyal, kadayal, or with dal.
Try this village style of keerai kuzhambu. Thanks, Kugan98

    KEERAI KULAMBU

    Ingredients:

250 grms of seeru keerai, cleaned and cut into 1 inch length.
    2 tbs cooked moong dal
    200 grms chopped onions
    200 grms chopped tomatoes
    2 tsp chillie powder
    3 tsp coriander powder
    ½ tsp tumeric powder
1 lime sized tamarind, make 2 cups juice
    Salt to taste

    To Grind:
    3 tbs grated coconut
    3 green chillies
    1 tsp cumin seeds
    1 tsp black pepper

    To Season:
    2 tbs oil
    2 sprig curry leaves
    1 tsp mustard seeds
2 dried chillies cut into pieces
    Little asafoetida powder

    Little cut coriander leaves.

    Method:
Heat oil in a pot, add in the seasonings. Add in the onions.
Saute well till lightly brown. Add in the tomatoes, chillie powder,
coriander powder, tumeric powder, salt and the cooked moong dal.

Mix well, add in the cut keerai and 2 cups of tamarind juice.
Cook on medium heat untill the keerai is cooked.
When the gravy boils add in the ground paste, and mix well.
Let it boil for a minute, remove and add the cut coriander leaves.

Note: You can use, ara keerai, or any of your choice.
    Do not use pasala keerai.
