Going by the dict meaning of உறை, two of them are straight :
-freeze (and its variants)
-cover (and its variants)

The third one could be a "திரிபு" from உரை, i.e.the meaning related to 'understanding'.

The popular usage for making one understand is உரை (கோனார் தமிழ் உரை, படித்துரைத்தார்). So, the "மண்டையில் உறைத்தது" could have come from it as a "over a time period changing" thingy. (Like யானை / ஆனை)...linguists can confirm.

Same for the fourth meaning - the hot taste thingy mentioned in the dict - we see both usages உறைப்பு & உரைப்பு
