Suvai glad that you liked the tomato mint chutney.
Guests who came to my house too always praise the chutney.
Suvai, ondeh-ondeh is a Malay word, which actually means urundai-urundai in Tamil.
It is a sweet vegetarian Malaysian delicacies.
The ingredients are, sticky rice flour, pandan leaves juice, palm sugar and grated coconut.
I have bought the sticky rice flour in the Korean supermarkets in Virginia, or Lottee supermarkets.
I am sure you can get them in Canada. Very simple to make and very tasty.
You can use green colour if you do not get the leaves there.
Also our Indian vellam, instead of the palm sugar.
I will post the recipe soon. Take care, Kugan

Suvai, sure try in the Korean supermarket and see.
Yes Suvai the palm sugar is from the palm tree.
You can even use karuppati if you can get.
I think vellam would be very close.
Thanks Suvai try and give us the feed back.
I will post the recipe for you.

Thanks Dev, I too liked the pulao, very simple and easy.
You can omit the lime juice if you do not like it.
Dev, here we not get seeraga samba arisi.
I used to buy back about 2 kilos every time I come to India.
Do not worry Dev, sticky rice flour and palm sugar will come to your house.
Is the pandan leaves still alive
Thanks and take care, enjoy the ice cream. Kugan
