Finished watching 'neeyA nAnA' (80's songs)...

Many visitors to this forum know how much special that period is to me

Except some touching moments here and there ('pon mAnaiththEdi' incident had me in tears), quite an average show. Unfortunately, it didn't transport me back May be the format kuzhappam. (The show is more about talking and at the max song-vocals but the top speciality of 80's -IMVSO- was instrumental portions...lack of that in the program could be the reason)

Though there was some sodhappal in the initial intro, overall, Gopi moderated the program very well, IMHO.

Though it was a brief moment and the audio was from a cell-phone only, 'indha minminikku' had an elevated moment thanks to the instrumental part. Despite having a few musicians sitting there, this part got almost totally neglected and that's a great injustice to 80's...sorry

When the participants sang, it would have added such an extraordinary flavor if the players added just guitar chords or piano accompaniment...lost opportunity
