nice poster again
. Organizers, puhhleazze make raja play the guitar at the show. (I don't think I've seen any videos of him playing the guitar any time so far. Are there any?)
irir, with you on the ideas for the show. I've expressed my wish many a time here about getting the man to open up and speak about his music, techniques, inspiration and other stuff. Its bound to be a treasure trove of information! Just that I've always felt that there probably needs to be a person like spb who can get raja comfortable and help keep out some needless questions that could get him irked and spoil his mood for the occasion. Let's see what we're signing up for.
And frankly, I don't really care for the crowd. It's not about the mass'nga, it's rather looking at the rare opportunity of having the genius 'come out of his shell' sorts (summa guess work dhaan). If I can be extremely blunt, I'd even say lesser the numbers, the merrier! If he's going to be extremely technical, so what? Nothing criminally wrong in an event being 'elitist' right? There's a thorough void of quality workshops in our country. inga konjam plichch anga konjam plichch is what we get. Technical discourse kudukkaraara? dhaaraalama pannunga, naanga support kudukkarOm saar.
Even if it ain't gonna happen again in the future, I care not. I'd take this single special occasion. janaranjagization be damned.

The problem is not with cinemAkkAran or not...problem is with people who talk too much (e.g. Parthiban). Prakash Raj was many times better than Parthiban.
I guess for "mass shows", you definitely need cinema fellows.
For workshops, go for musicians who are also decent in public communication.

Man, what are you talking?!? Explaining Music to whom?! Though they are Ardent Raja Veriyans, they are strangers whose musical skills(understanding/grasping music, not composing!) are not tested and the only eligibility being able to spend 1K or 10K and couple of hours. Are they Music enthusiasts?? And I am already fedex with the kind of way he speaks! I am not complaining about the technical talk, but even relevance. Isai enbathu, Isai engirunthu varuthunnaa kind of questions thrown to Raja are dangerous! And that too for 4 hours?
The content of this event is a big confusion and better media doesn't attent this for god sake!

Im wrong again !!! This is regarding the conclave .
UPDATE FROM KARTHIK RAJA
This event is only for the hardcore Raaja fans.
Dad is gonna talk about his journey and life as a composer. Musical entertainment is there but in a different way. Look at it as an impromptu kinda show.
"Be with me - Maestro" is the name of the show.
Press will be invited to a later part of the show where the earlier part would be purely personal.
This is for the elite Raaja fan and not the normal film geek. That is why we have very limited coverage on this to avoid normal movie-goers.
Show will start at 8:40am to 1pm finishing off with a nice lunch.
We're already run out of the lowest category tickets and are planning to limit the seats a little more.
The highest category ticket buyer will get an opportunity to meet dad and maybe take a picture with him or maybe even have lunch with him. I don't know about this part.
This will be one program that the fan of Raaja will not forget all his life.
Press meet is happening tomorrow.

Wow! you attended a workshop by Philip Glass!! amazing!!!
But I think this event is not what you want it to be
Apparently, Raaja will interact about his career and comment on the trends of music and all.
This one could be the baap of all the typical interviews/speeches we see.

Forget jargons, even if it is the usual vague mix of philosophy+"I dont know music"+ranting-about-other-music+"why should i make instrumental albums"+....... you might find it tough to sit!
Nevertheless, please try and share the minutes of the 4 hour meeting with us
