Did Prof. Selvakumar and Mr. Kalaivendhan present for the occasion ?

I could not see him in that clipping. Since he is highly experienced and a very senior devotee, I was thinking that he would be making his speech and keen to hear him.

In fact I have no idea because I am very very far away from India. But I am confident that they would have attended because they are pioneers.

In fact, persons who were fans of Thilagams [not AIADMK] also attended. That shows the respect they have for the two pillars of Tamil Cinema.
