There is going to be four more Tamil releases this Friday (Feb 18).

The films due for release are Nadunisi Naaygal, Aadu Puli, Kathalar Kudiyirippu and Margazhi 16.

It means 20 films would have released in seven Fridays in 2011, an average of almost three films a week. The success ratio among the 16 films released so far (till Feb 14) is that one of them is a super hit, two will recover their cost and the rest 13 of them are big losers!

Trade people say that the quality of content is poor and they have noticed that the audiences are ignoring most of the new releases. Most of the films released this year failed to take a solid opening, and virtually collapsed by Monday afternoon.
