Throughout his illustrious career Hossam has had the honour of working with some of the most talented and creative musicians in the world. The idea of making an album with some of those artists is one that has flourished over the last decade.

Rock the Tabla is the realisation of that idea. An exploration in music with some of the artists he has come to love and be inspired by, including Billy Cobham, A.R. Rahman, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Manu Katché, Joji Hirota, Phil Thornton, Chaz Kkoshi, John Themis, Jimmy Waldo…
