The show started late as per the IST so Swades theme couldn't be played
leaflet with soloist interviews and track details were nicely done.
major disappointment before the concert was when I found out Flute Naveen has given this concert a miss and Navin Iyer to do the honors.
buy to my utter dismay in the name of improvisation 'cry of rose' was completely butchered by himthough sanity prevailed in Bombay theme..other than Navin's blemishes the show was exhilarating..once the speeches were done 2 hrs of complete unadulterated music..seems Babelsberg are trained to play movie scores but still to hear them play our music was a bit quirky. LOTR suite was the best and Kavita baliga nailed it
AR somehow sneaked in to play Mausam/Escape with Asad Khan...was pleasantly surprised to hear Aayo re Sakhi from water in the end.
