Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiyaa?

Probably the 2nd worst remake of a classic after Maappillai. Santhanam evokes a few laughs but mostly a rehash of his earlier jokes. Powerstar is irritating to the core. In fact, because of him the film falls flat. If you love IPNV, better stay away.

if u love'ah.. enna kelvi idhu.. classic.. first half each & every scene, every dialogue is a classic..
recently i was discussing about the scene - vengudu proposing to radhika.. explaining her about Jayakanthan's novel..
i never stayed away from praising Baghyaraj, both in this forum & outside to my friends..

I suggest you to watch "Beijing bicycle" right away. You'll come to know how much Vetrimaran (kaalla vizhundhadhu avar dhaan) draws inspiration in his Polladhavan from that young boy in job,stolen bike,in search of it, romance, family father-son scuffle, Fuse-Lee's six-pack!! told from a different, unimaginable perspective.

A Must watch!

Nagavalli/Chandramukhi 2

If Chandramukhi was an example of how to make a bad remake, Nagavalli is a perfect example of making a bad sequel. Glad that Rajnikanth didn't opt for making the movie in Tamil.

The Bicycle Thief: சின்னச் சின்ன வைரங்கள் படம் முழுவதும் புதைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

பானை சோற்றில் ஒரு பதம்: சுறுசுறுப்பாக முதல் நாள் வேலைக்கு புறப்படும் அன்டோனியோவைப் பார்த்து மனைவி சொல்லுவாள்: "இந்த உடையில் நீங்கள் ஒரு காவலர் போலவே இருக்கிங்க!". எஞ்சி வரும் படக் காட்சிகள் முழுவதும் அன்டோனியோ ஒரு காவலர் போலவே தனது சைக்கிளை தேடிக்கொண்டிருப்பான்..

படக் காட்சிகளை ஒவ்வொரு முறை அசைபோடும் போதும், வெவ்வெறு தரிசனங்களை அள்ளித் தெளிக்கிறது. கருத்துருவகங்களும் கவியுருவகங்களும் நிறைந்த படைப்பு!
