Ilayathalapathy Vijay's upcoming film Thalaiva has started making huge waves from the time first look posters were released. Now that the shooting is happening in a rapid manner, the latest minute is that director Vijay's elder brother Udhaya has joined the sets of Thalaiva now. The actor fled to Mumbai today shooting for this film and his details about the role has been kept unraveled.
A 74-member film crew from the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu will be flying to Muscat for the filming of a romantic thriller titled Thalaiva, starring Vijay and Amala Paul, in the first week of March, the line producer of the movie said.
"Being directed by A.L. Vijay, the movie will be shot over 36 days at various locations in the Sultanate. Two songs and a fight scene will be filmed," Renny Johnson, the line producer and executive manager at Mezoon Travels, told Times of Oman.
"The songs will be shot in one of the auditoriums in Muscat and in some of the hotels. We are also looking for a factory in which we can shoot the fight scenes," Renny stated, adding that some 20 artists will be selected from Oman—both Omanis and expatriates—to act in the film sequences.
