another "Ragavan instinct" moment
Never argue with a fool or he will drag you down to his level and beat you at it through sheer experience!

Kedi Billa Kiladi Ranga (KBKR)
Written, Directed and Co-produced by Pandiraj
Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja
Banner : Pasanga Productions & Escape Artists Motion Pictures
Starring : Vimal, Sivakarthikeyan, Bindu Madhavi, Regina Cassandra, Soori, Delhi Ganesh, Railway Porters, Katchi people, Bar makkal
Theni Kesavan and Pattai Murugan are childhood friends. They get Rajinikanth film titles in front of their names as their mothers gave birth to them while watching the respective movies. Thus the title is justified, and there is nothing villanism or any heist. Plus they have local titles like Theni and Pattai, as one is very active all the time and the other ports a "vibhudi" in his forehead (explications given promptly in the movie). Apart from these unwanted interpretation, KBKR, goes forward narrating the disrespect these 2 guys show not only towards the soceity but also in their family. They treat theirs fathers as their sole evil. Not to forget their close assosiate Soori, who lives at his in laws house doing absolutely nothing. So these 3 do have a motive in life - geting into politics for a simple reason also explained in the movie. Thus these motivated guys follow a MLA to acheive their goal. In between both fall in love, well not inbetween, its right from the word go. Then comes another angle on friendship and relationship, which ends in them realising the ultimatum of a fathers role in a sons life.
Eventhough KBKR sounds like a story of a "Thani thelichi vetta" guys, the treatment is absolutely untolerable. Just a question to the makers - what do you think - whether the impact of your last 15 mins "good" message or your atrocious potrayal of the first 1h45 mins - will rest in people's mind. Dont just blush by saying that "we have showed what happens in the soceity with a bit of humour". "I dont care, as I see whats happening in the soceity and I dont need your humoristical potrayal" is what comes to mind. Eventhough the theme is good, how it is handled is unacceptable.
Vimal, as usual, gives his "no tone change" performence, whereas SK impresses in the begining but becomes monotone merely because his character has nothing much to deliver except, like, calling a girl for a prono movie. Quite funny, isn't it. Abusing women in the movies, then taking up rallies on street. The 2 heroines have nothing logical to do, but fall in love with the heroes at a point of time. Soori has nothing to say or do much, but just sit and counter the proceedings. The 2 fathers get insulted, beaten and give a lecture in the end - whether it creates an impact or not - viewers choice.
KBKR - Kedi kadhai Killadi promotion.

Question on KBKR, to those who have watched it :
Opposite to the photo-copy shop, where SK meets/calls his girlfriend, you can see Unnaipol Oruvan 30 days run poster on the wall.
Question : If its real and pictured as it was on the wall at the time of filming, then can it be said that this film was under-production/filming for about 4 years ? If so what was there to take this much time to make this movie ?
