yaarukku theriyum?!? He says he composed some Global Fusion music for hey raam! We know what impact Raja's music did for Hey Raam. And i doubt his popularity(?) is still there in Europe etc..

I posted this in twitter becos some ppl are blaming Kamal for his 1st choice and not going to Raja. This interview clearly answers that kamal went to him only for his popularity in european markets and not his talent

Sakala, do you have the interviews given by Kamal during Hey Ram time? If we can get them it will be nice..

CR, eppdi correctaa kekkureenga?!? I have some 10+ Interview (paper cuttings) he gave during Hey Raam! Vikatan, Kumudam, Kungumam, even one Magazine called விண் நாயகன்.!

அப்பல்லாம் கமல்/இளையராஜா/ரஹ்மான் பேர் பத்திரிக்கை அட்டையில் இருந்தால் உடனே வாங்கிடுவேன்! I have posted them few, in recent days (Vikatan Reviews of Anbe Sivam, Mahanathi, Kuruthippunal)

But i need some time to scan(take photo in mobile) and upload. Will do soon!

Also the sad thing is, i have lost some important ones too

Venki, may be. But is his music popular in india. I mean, i am guessing that he is popular as an Carnatic Musician but not as a composer, here! that apart, i am interested to know about his music and popularity, then and now! But in that interview, LS himself had said in his own words why kamal came to him

no issues, pls put them whenever possible, it will be nice if we have "one" which can clarify Kamal's stand on why he decided to discontinue with Suppu.. I vaguely remember that LS was delaying too much and the his demands were also too high..

CR, the interview of him, clearly says that

1. Kamal came to him citing his popularity in Europe France etc
2. He was offered 10 lacs and he disagreed for that citing it was less for him, also for a tri lingual movie
3. He finished songs and started to some foreign country without doing BGM and kamal got irked with that

I am seeing Rate and Date problem only
