Can easily find what song was replaced instead of this! Still this is a superb song!

It was released in the first version of the cassette.
Also one more song "aadipattam..." was there.
Lateser these two were replaced by "Kathakelu.." and "sivarathiri"

This song even situation/lyrics match to Sivaraarthi, How will Aadippattam match to KathakeLu?!? I guess they recorded that song when one of the role was different. may be one out of Kameshwaran or Raju were assumed to be villagers..

Yes.. I did not mean the song situations. I meant there were two songs which got removed later.
Anyway I did not like that song and I was happy for its removal

Yeah, I remember loudspeakers in Madurai playing ''aadipattam'' and ''Maththappoovu'' day in and day out during MMKR release time. IMO, "aadippattam" was replaced by "Vechchaalum vekkama ponaalum" song and "mathaappoovu" by "sivarathiri"...

Situations wise may be. But the 1st version of cassette had "per vechalum vekkama..."
