gud movie thaan..bt screenplay is very slow..cant get addiction wit script..
wonder hw tis movie got BB in the BO..
anjali is ok ...bt there is no scope of acting for samantha ...
the film shows wt s happening in middle-class family..nothing new..

watching tis movie is lik a self-suicide...cant watch even a min..
hw the director hav guts to do such a 'kuppai' movie...
i simply did 'Shift+Del'..
i wil blindly say it s one of the top 10 worst movies of 100 yrs Tamil cinema...

I would not come so hard on the movie, keeping in mind its genre. It did stick to what it wanted to convey. In this case its a winner. Its just that you are not into these type of jokes. For ex. The "mapillai" family having a coke bottle with poison written on it and sitting in the front row is not only a spoof but also conveys how bad coke is + how the arranged marriages are still practised in India. There are several scenes which also potrays the psycological tortures humouristically. And its a spoof, what else did you expect ?

I watched several movies offlate but none merited to have a review posted, that does not mean that they all are worst, just that there were not up to the mark.

Could you list the rest 9 movies please ?

if u c 9'la guru, u wil come to conclude tat KLTA is 100 times better than tis movie..
obviously i dint lik KLTA..bt compare pannumpothu KLTA best'aa theriyuthu..
i thinking our humor sense is down to lik such a cheap ...

Comedy padam'na MMKR, Panja thanthiram, Ullathai Alli tha, sum Sundar C movies, etc., apdi irukkanum..

That I cannot deny; had said that couple of times.
Don't think that I am defending 9 la Guru (I saw it theatre when I visited Chennai), but the movies that you compare with does not justify how bad 9 la Guru is, as they do not have the same humour.
Trust me there were people laughing in the theatre halls, when I was rolloing my eyes ! I keep KLTA above 9 la Guru, and its a good movie. But bringing in MMKR ...
Bref, 9 la Guru I categorise as "So bad they are hilarious".
