Maharasan looked like an extended cameo.He helped out GN Rangarajan (Kalyana Raman) thru this.

I don't know why he accepted movies like Mangamma Sabatham,Kalaignan,Kathal Parisu,Paer Sollum pillai etc. I don't think these were for friendship

He apparently did KALAIGNAN without taking salary for Sivaji productions !

Unlikely. Sivaji did Thevar Magan (Kamal's production) without a professional fee and not the other way round. Had it been that way, Kamal's professional income from November 1990 till January 1994 would have been just the salary he received for Singaravelan.

Lots n lots of publicity was made regarding his guest role without remuneration for G N R, in Maharasan. If he had done a similar thing for Kalaignan, it would have received double the publicity, if not more.

Will Kajal adjust for Kamal Haasan?

The buzz was ripe that Kajal Aggarwal might be roped in to star opposite Kamal Haasan in his next film, under Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers banner. This film would also see the involvement of Crazy Mohan and has been tentatively and interestingly titled as Uthama Villain.

Now reports are doing the rounds that Kajal is not in a position to take up this project as her datebook is already full with many projects across languages. It seems she has even conveyed her inability to take up this project, to Kamal.

Will Kamal look out for other options or will Kajal manage to bag this prestigious biggie with some date adjustment? We have to wait and see.
