கமலின் மன்மத லீலை படம் ரீமேக் -டைரக்டர் பத்ரி
கமல் நடித்து 1976-ல் ரிலீசாகி வெற்றிகரமாக ஓடிய படம் “மன்த லீலை”. இதில் ஜெயபிரதா நாயகியாக நடித்தார். கே.பாலச்சந்தர் இயக்கினார். இளம் பெண்களை ஏமாற்றி கற்பை சூறையாடும் கேரக்டரில் கமல் நடித்து இருந்தார். ஹலோ மைடியர் ராங் நம்பர், மனைவி அமைவதெல்லாம் இறைவன் கொடுத்த வரம், மன்மதலீலை மயக்குது ஆளை உள்ளிட்ட பாடல்கள் பட்டி தொட்டியெங்கும் கலக்கின.

இப்படத்தை மீண்டும் ரீமேக் செய்து இயக்க டைரக்டர் பத்ரி முடிவு செய்துள்ளார். இவர் ரஜினி நடித்த தில்லு முல்லு படத்தை ரீமேக் செய்து ரிலீஸ் செய்துள்ளார். அடுத்து மன்மத லீலை படத்தை எடுக்கிறார். இதுகுறித்து டைரக்டர் பத்ரி கூறியதாவது:-

நான் ஏற்கனவே வீராப்பு, ஐந்தாம்படை, தம்பிக்கு இந்த ஊரு படங்களை இயக்கினேன். தொடர்ந்து ரஜினியின் தில்லுமுல்லு படத்தையும் ரீமேக் செய்து வெளியிட்டேன். பழைய ரஜினி படம் போல் இல்லாமல் இந்த காலத்துக்கு ஏற்ற வகையில் காட்சிகள், வசனங்களை மாற்றி எடுத்து இருந்தேன். இப்படத்துக்கு ரசிகர்களிடம் நல்ல வரவேற்பு கிடைத்துள்ளது.

தியேட்டர்களில் கைதட்டி சிரிக்கிறார்கள். படம் வெற்றிகரமாக ஓடுகிறது. கமலின் மன்மதலீலை படத்தையும் ரீமேக் செய்ய விருப்பம் உள்ளது. நடிகர், நடிகைகள், தயாரிப்பாளர் முடிவானதும் அறிவிக்கப்படும். சிவாவை வைத்து அடுத்து புதுப்படம் எடுக்கிறேன்.

இவ்வாறு பத்ரி கூறினார்.

Jainism spread in Tamil Nadu as it was the state religion under the (non Tamilian) Kalabhras (2-6th century AD).

tch tch tch! "kaLappirar" thamizhar allar enkiRa kathaiyE sethu pOna kathai! Predicating that Sangam thamizh period was "Hindoo" is nonsense non pareil!

The fact that Tamils were worshippers of Lord Murugan and the Mother Goddess (Amman) much much earlier than the Christian era has been carefully concealed by people with vested interests.

Oh and since when did Murukan and koRRavai were researched and indentified to be "Hindoo" gods?!

SamaNam and Bouththam (Budhism) were anti-vedic religion and their influence in the thamizh naadu was only natural since their spread in Norther parts of Indian sub continent was very strong during the pre-christian and early christian era. That the vedism in thamizh naadu could not take root during Sangam era until the end of it, was an obvious fact. The spread of Jainism and Budhism as an anti thesis to the (then) campaigning of Vedic "varna" religion was a natural / expected phenomenon.

That the Jains now do not evince any interest in anti-vedism of their basic roots - would not mean that Jainism was not found as an anti-dote to the poison of Vedic invader religion. So it goes for Budhism too.

budhdha was the First periyar and Periya was only the 20th century budhdha - which would be quite obvious to any keen reader/thinkers.


Vedism, jainism and Budhdhism - none of these had their origin in thamizhnaadu. All of them are vanthERi theologies. But the Latter 2 were necessary to fight the first one - during that time period.

KuRumbar, vELir and other ancient tribes of thamizh naadu - who were sought to be marginalised by the increasingly Vedism following Kings - rebelled against the injust Varna religion which was imposed upon the thamizh country and the Life and Social setup. They used and embraced the then - stridently antii-vedic religions of Jainism (samaNam) and Budhism to fight vedic villains. This is the correct interpretation of the end of Latter Sangam era.

kOchadaiyaan aka nedunchadaiyaan - a latter 6th Century CE pandiyan King was the one who - again gave a refreshing re-birth to the Varna vedic pArpana society in thamizhnaadu - by reclaiming the lands from the common pool of agriocultural lands owned by all the people and giving them as "சதுர் வேதி மங்கலம்" lands which were given as a Free gift to the pArpanars for their "divine" qualities!

Thamizh country was never completely conquered and there in lies the tragedy of the Aryan lies!
