Well I guess you cannot just dub it a lift. They look pretty similar. The same could be said about the first film's poster. It was very similar to MI:Ghost Protocol.

There's nothing lifted. Even people claiming it resembles Nic Cage's "The Rock" are not looking properly. The preview for Part 2 that comes prior to the end credits shows Wissam/Omar's fight. Inbetween, Wissam using signal flares to alert the American soldiers neighboring near Omar's village. Omar then shoots Wissam and then the scene quickly cuts to Wissam being rescued by a helicopter. Ithu copy vera.
Also, tidbits....
1)Kamal Sir completed his 75% of shooting and he wrapped up outside of country shots
2)Shooting will restart once he is back from IIFA in full swing..Without any break he is just shaping the film.
3)As Kamalji loved the songs of vaagai sooda vaa mainly saara kaathu song he offered the chance to Gibran.
4)He is 200% sure that film gonna rock indian cinema both technology wise as well as box office.
5)Thalaivar major concern is about world wide promotions for the film
6)ONE BIG SURPRISE SCENE IS THERE IN THE FILM WHICH IS MUCH BIGGER THAN OUR WAREHOUSE FIGHT SCENE.
From IIFA:
-Waheeda Rahman & Anant Mahadevan were added to the cast in addition to the Part 1 players.
-Unlike Part 1's duration of 2hr 28min, VR-2 runtime will be less than 2 hours.
-RKFI names are listed as producers for Hindi/Tamil. Aascar's name not revealed yet. For Part 1 (Tamil), PVP's name was listed in the first look, but weeks before Audio launch, RFKI was soley listed. For Hindi, Balaji's name wasn't there until a month prior to release.
Just IN : Vishwaroop-2 Releasing In English Also!
