While his Vishwaroopam aimed at breaking new grounds in India, Kamal has taken the sequel Vishwaroopam 2 to a global platform. IIFA awards held recently in Macau hosted Viswaroopam 2's trailer release. The slickly cut trailer received a rousing welcome from the Bollywood fraternity. Kamal, who spoke to news agencies at the IIFA awards asserted that he was sure from the beginning of Viswaroopam's shooting that there would be a sequel. Subsequently, he had written the story in two parts.

Though Vishwaroopam 2 is still under progress, it is expected to release in 2013. Kamal also revealed that the second part is "both a sequel and prequel" with heavy focus on human relationships. "Vishwaroopam 2 is technologically more advanced. There are underwater scenes for which we shot recently," Kamal said. Kamal returns as Major Wisam Ahmad while Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah and Jaideep Ahlawat return in the sequel performing important roles. Shamdat Sainudeen replaces Sanu Varghese as the cinematographer while Ghibran handles Vishwaroopam 2's music. The movie will be a crisp 2 hours.

We are hearing that the Teaser of VR-2 is released in IIFA, but it is not out on any websites... if some one can get it and put here it will be great...
