    4-day weekend and no competition. I was expecting it to become a monster hit but barely made it to 10th position after two weekends?
    Thuppaki was a much bigger hit.

    Films which released in a same Ramadan five day weekend with no competition does not feature in the top 10. So I am more than happy with what Thalaivaa has managed considering the mixed reviews it got. Also, இப்போத்தானே இண்டர்வெல் ப்ளாக்கே வந்துருக்கு. படம் முடிஞ்சதும் கலெக்‌ஷன்ஸ் பத்தி இன்னும் டீடெய்ல்டா பேசலாம்.
