    Kugan's Kitchen Part 7

O.K friends, the first pineapple was made into pineapple lassi.
The second was made into pineapple sambal, goes well with ghee rice and things. Kugan

    PINEAPPLE SAMBAL

    Ingredients:

    1 tbs oil
    2 pips garlic smashed
    1 big onion sliced
    1 tbs of chillie paste
300 grms pineapple cut into small pieces
    Sugar to taste
    Salt to taste

    Method:

Heat a non stick pan with the oil.
Add in the smashed garlic and saute well. Add in the sliced onions.
Saute till slightly limp. Add in the chillie paste.
Cook on slow fire till the raw smell goes.

Add in the pineapple slices, sugar and salt.
Cook for few minutes. The pineapple will ooze out some juices.
Stir fry for a moment and remove.
Goes well with any pulao or ghee rice.

    Chefs are just like children.
They should be seen not heard.

Thanks Sangeetha for your nice post. Glad you enjoyed your trip.
Sangeetha you can use the white colour sweet potato too.
Normally here they use the white colour sweet potato and add little red colouring to the outer skin.
The angkoo kuih would be red in colour . You do not need a mould.

Have you tried the mochi in Korean supermarkets?
It will be something like that. Thanks, Kugan
